There is little point in rehashing the basic facts on book, but quickly....A and O had a night and disappeared on each other.

I was beyond bummed the bad guy being named Anneliese. Just so happens that is my favorite girl name and this spelling, thank you you author!

Seriously, I do agree with concerns that if one person in five years had spoken this would be resolved. Personally, I find Drew—A to be the bigger idiot here. Lamenting he could not find O—Shay. A is so wealthy were are told and is distraught without his O, but apparently hiring a team to locate O is too much. (yep, bad me run on sentence). When A/O reconnect the dunce cap moves to O, but A not home free. Also, we got it Andy (kid) is the most perfect person ever. When he disobeys it is cute. Got news...at this rate Andy will be an ass by age ten.

I did not like the dream sequence. It was odd and difficult to understand. Author does explain, but trying to figure out took me out of story.

Finally, author attempts to circumvent negative reviews. I imagine most of us would especially in light of other books and their positive reviews. But the last line in book is immediately followed by a note from author about how O is a twit. Dear author, that does not encourage me to read your other books.

The Billionaire Alpha series is one of my favorites so I was excited to read Unforgettable Omega...I was definitely not disappointed! Shay and Drew are the masters of miscommunication and although Shay was young, I felt he could’ve acted a little more mature when they meet again. Once they start to actually talk, I love Drew’s persistence. I adore the scenes with Andy, he’s the cutest little man. Skye R. Richmond has quickly become a one click author for me and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

💞👨‍👨‍👦 The basic framework of this second chance MM romance story was good and the characters, except for wealthy hero Drew's ex-girlfriend Anneliese, were all pretty likeable and relatable. The two lead men both did, however, have sides to their character that turned me off a bit. For young Shay, it was his belief, even when asked repeatedly what was wrong, that the past was past and should be buried (when it could still never be forgotten and was constantly affecting their lives!). For Drew, it was his roaming around with a string of partners, including fly in the ointment Anneliese, even after he had met his forever someone. As to the 🔥heat, there is some steam but it's not too lengthy or graphic, which was fine for me.

🤔 I would have enjoyed the story much more had it been condensed. There was too much rehashing from each hero's viewpoint of what happened, might have beens and how to handle the now. As a result, my attention repeatedly wavered and I kept wondering when they'd finally reach the critical moment of understanding one another.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Unforgettable Omega is a second chance romance complicated by a previously unknown child from the first time around. Shay and Drew locked eyes at a party almost 5 years ago and couldn't see anyone else. They fell into bed immediately, expecting that to be the beginning of them. In the morning, Drew wakes to find that Shay vanished for reasons unknown. Fast forward to present day and they lock eyes again... until Drew sees a young boy that looks suspiciously like him.

After answering Drew's phone during the one night they spent together (Umm, really? Who answers someone else's personal phone on first meeting?), Shay jumps to conclusions (ok, he's 18 and innocent, but still), and bolts without saying anything. A few months later after finding himself pregnant from that night, Shay goes back looking for Drew but is stopped by a woman claiming to be Drew's fiancee. Shay vanishes again, never having spoken to Drew. Yeah, he's still young, but he should have at least let Drew know about the baby. Even so, he can't completely get Drew out of his mind or heart. Flash to today and oops, now Shay has to deal with Drew finding out.

Lucky for Shay, Drew is a good man and a kind alpha, because once he calmed down, Drew just wanted a chance to know what happened and for them to be a family. Shay still tries to bury the past, refusing to speak about it. It takes Drew far too long to get through to Shay.

So much could have been avoided or at least easier if the two of them sat down and actually communicated. A little honesty would have gone a long way and it bugs me. I still enjoyed reading the story, but it's not one I see myself coming back to.
