About the Author
But you can call meJacq (sounds like "Jack", but spelled way cooler, almost French-like).
I'm an aspiring minimalist, especially when it comes to work and life.
I help busy working moms unfusstheir lives and daily routines, keeping things so simple, the single ladiescrane their necks wondering, "How do they do it?"
I've worked in managementconsulting and communications for more than a decade. I write everything fromspeeches for CEOs, to proposals winning billions of dollars, to articleson cooking and meditation.
What does that mean? I speak allsorts of languages, namely the one you really want to learn - simplify.
When I'm not whittling downrun-on paragraphs by day, you can find me devouring booksabout selling all my crap and vagabonding, wrangling sticky kids into thebath, and cuddling up with cabernet and chocolate. And maybe a book, afurry creature, or my husband. Not necessarily in that order.
I currently live just outside ofChicago, where I see deer, hummingbirds, and cardinals daily. I just found outI'm a Libra after 35 years of thinking I was a Virgo. Talk about a change-up! Ihave a husband, two kids, a dog, a cat (and I hate cats), no house plants, andmost of my sanity.
