About the Author
Writing has become something that Bathsheba Dailey has to do to continue on through her life, she finds peace within her words and a better understanding of who she is and who she wants to be remembered as. She lives in a small town in West Virginia with her three young girls and has almost completed her associates degree in business management. She strides to make a better life for her loved ones no matter the cost to herself. And as always a new beginning is better than an old ending.

Bathsheba Dailey, in her book the Un-Hidden Reflections of My Heart, which is her second book published, is a poetry of non-equivalent beauty of prose reaching deep inside the heart and soul and expressed eloquently with pen and paper.
Although all of the poems are well thought and beautifully put together the following poems were my favorite: Un-Hidden Reflections of My Heart, Blessed, Arms of Comfort, Hearts Afire, Juke Box, One and Only Me, Forgiven, Hidden Misery, and Finally to See
Remembering Long Ago Days, A Left Alone Child, Childhood Dreams gave me chills up and down me as I absorbed the words tragically penned.
Not only did I enjoy Tick Tock, Writer's Block, it had me laughing because I understood exactly what she penned!
Sample of her poetry:
An un-hidden reflection of
what once was stares back at
me through the the light of
dawn that can be seen from
the years that have passed be,
reflections that once were
Bathsheba has the unique quality in her writing to grab you and not let go. She writes of real experiences within her own life, as well as, what others have at one time experienced, at one time or another, in their lives: birth, death, happiness, sadness, love, loss, fear, joy, etc. Her eloquence is to be envied.
I would highly recommend to anyone read both of these books, enjoy, and share them. You will not be disappointed.
Dailey certainly has a way with words, and it's all something we can relate to in being human.
I would have to say that I could not pick a favorite poem if I tried because there are so many that really speak to me.
On that note, I couldn't help but adore the prose in "Man of my Dreams". My favorite section is here:
Now dreams of kisses under the moonlight
in his arms are what I see,
my heart has been completely taken
by the man of my dreams.
I have found a kindred spirit in the writings of this book and can't wait to check out all the others by this author!
She writes about everything, love, loss, friendship, etc. There is nothing not covered in this wonderful book of hers.
This is a fantastic write, and one you should truly get your hands on.
If you are a lover of poetry or just a novice, you will adore this book. This is one of these books we put by our nightstand to cherish!!!
The holiday season is approaching give this book to someone you love!!!!
