The spewing of vitriol, epithets and wild conspiracy theories suggest a collective nervous breakdown among liberals, according to conservative commentator Malkin who, in her latest book, makes no distinction between moderate and extreme liberals; everyone left of right is a nut who suffers from PEST-Post Election Selection Trauma. This syndrome, she explains, is democratic (small d), affecting stuffed-donkey clutching college students and seasoned congressmen and journalists whose overweening diatribes and hand-wringing Malkin has seized to illustrate an emotionally charged and irrational hatred of everything conservative. The success and defense of this book "Unhinged", itself hinges upon accurate recordation of innumerable and frightful chronicled misdeeds because the book's content, if seen any other way, would be regarded as heavily inflammatory. Malkin overcame that obstacle with her Notes detailing the gutter-speak of oh-so-many American Liberals who are thoroughly and convincingly documented to be incapable of maintaining minimum levels of expected decency.

So yes, Michelle Malkin has done her job admirably well! One might expect that after certain defects are publicly exposed, charted most fairly, the defective party should/would improve oneself as much as one might wish evolution to work in a positive fashion: - however, these political liberals, part-and-parcel of the modern Democratic Machine may show Darwinism to work in reverse, reverting to more inferior grades of human behavior. The bottom-line of behavior for many greedy power-grabbing sleaze dealers is to use whatever primitive rules work best, i.e., as the childhood push & shove & kick & stomp of youngsters playing "King of the Castle". What might pass as mischievous behaviors or merely bad-pranks in undisciplined children becomes, in the minds of these less-civilized pseudo-enlightened adult liberals is plain raunchy behavior, misdemeanors and even felonies when in the form of physical assaults and wanton property destruction.

The unparalleled pernicious petty diatribes cast upon Malkin are loathsome, many unfit to print, but she forebears, revealing the precise wordings she's received from these sicko scum, men and women, as they truly were written, word for word and letter for letter.

So, what have we learned? Well -- this voluminous documented Chronicle details the myriad of names and status of those pseudo-enlightened Americans to be non-other than the core and substance of the unbridled, liberal, oft-socialistic, political Democratic National party ship having residences in Hollywood, Washington DC, and entrenched in our once finest teaching institutions. What a shame the time has to be spent on such a sordid project, but someone had to do it. The book is nicely formatted, easy to read and is akin to a crime log complete with color photos that include Howard Dean, Al Franken, Ward Churchill, Michael Moore, Kerri Dunn, Barbara Streisand, and Teresa Heinz Kerry. The only thing close would be those B & W photos posted on the North wall of local Post Offices. Glory be (is)! Is the liberal style contagious and has it infested my writings here? Heavens, I shall shower immediately.

This account of an enormously successful woman, who boasts a net worth of around $22 million. I am surprised she is not lauded as an example of a very successful woman by liberals. She studied at the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic High School and later attended Oberlin College. She is a political analyst, and her book is about the opposition to her views, focusing on how nasty those who disagree with her can be. No doubt part of the reason for this nasty response is her Catholic conservative views. She is loved and hated by her viewers in about equal numbers. Most liberals do not agree with her conservative political values, but this does not justify the vitriolic response she faces as documented in this book, which may do more to hurt liberals than conservatives. In this book, she documents and responds to the incendiary insults and vile slurs directed at her and conservatives in general. I am all for reasonable debate, but such has become very difficult in today's climate, especially at universities, as this book documents. Of all places that should welcome open discussion should be universities, but not so today. Regardless of your view, this book is a must-read. I read books on both sides and liberals likewise need to read the side they do not favor to be able to, at least, understand the other side.

Just received my copy of Michelle Malkin's 'Unhinged'. I found it a straight forward summary of some of the more extreme antics indulged in by some of those on the far left, based simply on news and blog reporting.

Update:

I would not normally edit my review on a book, but reviewer 'elwin' needs answering. He compiles two lists, one of Democrats who have served in the Armed Forces and one of Republicans who haven't. Seems like apples and oranges to me. How about a list of Democrats who haven't served? Or a list of Republicans who have? Just checking the bios for the Senate I find he missed out the following Republican Senators with time in uniform:

Burns, Conrad - Marines
Cochran, Thad - Navy
Enzi, Mike - Wyoming Air National Guard
Isakson, Johnny - Georgia Air National Guard
Roberts, Pat - Marines
Stevens, Ted - Air Force
Thomas, Craig - Marines
Warner, John - Navy

By the way, in case anybody didn't notice, 'Proud Republican' is actually a liberal flying under false colors, a typical Democratic Underground tactic. If you compare his assumed tone of voice with the genuine conservative reviews you will hear the same tone deafness displayed at the Democratic National Convention when the speakers, to include both candidates and their wifes, continuously harped on Dick Cheney's having a lesbian daugther who he loves and accepts. Their assumption was that Republican=Nazi=Fanatical Right Wing Christian=Gay Hater/Racist. They assumed the Republican 'base' (whoever that is exactly) would cast Cheney out into the darkness for not disowning his 'pervert' daughter. Instead the reaction was one of disgust with the Democrats for intruding on his family life. I'm afraid the real intolerance for nonconformity is on the Left, not the Right.

Today is July 15, 2017 and I just finished this book. I had purchased the book thinking it had to do with the lib-left lunatics not getting over Trump's win in November 2016..Little did I know that this book was written in 2005. So, what's changed? Nothing! The left is still unhinged. I'm not sure what makes them think that their the only ones fit to run government. What's really scary is they "think" only they can run government. Would a lib-left elitist please tell me why? What did Clinton do in his eight years? Or what about Obama? What did he do in his eight years?

What I absolutely loved about the 2016 election was that the Dems threw their best person up against a reality-show personality, and LOST! Oh yes, we will have to listen for years about how the Russians influenced the election. But do you know who really influenced the election the most? THE DEMOCRATS!! These elitist pigs have no clue about the trials and tribulations the "working person" has to deal with.

My only hope is that with all the spinning the lib-left is doing that eventually they screw themselves into the ground and out of sight.

Absolutely loved this book. I admit I came to it late, over ten years after it was published, but it may as well have been written in 2017 as in 2005. This book is about the madness sprouting from the left after Bush's re-election in 2004. Plenty of horrific reactions, tales of madness, of pure craziness. A plethora of anecdotes.... It is so scary that the lesson was not learned and that the left have become even more crazy over the intervening twelve years between Bush and Trump... A great read for anyone slightly right of the left. Even middle of the road Libertarians should find this book fun and informative.
