I strongly suggest this book to anyone dealing with a family member who is battling addiction.
this book is also a guide to finding peace of mind through the storm.
It wasn't what I thought it would be. The author did descibe the events that led to her son's recovery, but I was was expecting more about how she learned to manage her life (the mention of Naranon and Alanon are in the book). I also would like to disagree, with the statement "relapse is part of recovery." In some cases, yes it maybe, but what I've learned, is this statement is a myth, in the world of recovery.
