I was ordering the U60 kit over the phone from Cellularbooster.com and the agent said that he could give me a better price on a refurbished U2, which he said was the same thing with the same warranty and also work with me on the price of a cable upgrade and lightning surge protector. Installation was not difficult. I put the external antenna (outdoor Yagi 11 dbi directional) about 30 ft up an oak tree that is right next to my house. I ran the ultra low loss cable through the soffit and into the attic where I have the booster box with the whip antenna. I bought the lightning surge protector and grounded it back to my electrical box. I placed the booster box in the middle of my attic to cover the whole house. I had my son-in-law in the house telling me the optimal direction to point the antenna once I had the system all assembled. I have a new metal roof, which definitely reduced what was already bad signal from AT&T. I only have AT&T because the hospital I work in has it. I went from no signal/1 bar to 2 to 4 bars in my house. I went this route when AT&T told me it was my problem, not theirs and they wanted me to buy their microcell unit for $200. This system is pricy, but it boosts signal from any carrier. At this point (1 week out), I have no regrets. I gave 4 stars because of price.

It works but..... it will only cover about 300 sq ft. I suppose its better than no signal at all. I had no signal now I have 4 bars and 4g. So I use my phone as a hotspot and can use my laptop through out the house.

Do NOT NOT NOT order from Signifi. They are the worst example of "customer service" I've ever seen, and I have AT&T phone service. I ordered a signal booster but when the brutal winter hit before I could install it, I returned the items unopened since I really did not want to go on a 2 story snow-covered roof. UPS confirmed delivery. An email from Signifi said I would be credited the money within 5 business days. When I did not have my money in 2 weeks, I started emailing, calling and even sent a letter via certified mail. Not only did they not refund the money, they did not respond to anything. Seriosuly, not even a response to a certified letter. It took me disputing the charge with my credit card company for them to refund the money. Forget whether the items works - Signifi is awful.
