Everything I hoped it would be!
I have had this phone for about 24 hours now and I don't see myself ever going back to my full sized smartphone. This can do literally everything a full sized smartphone can. But, you may not always want to, and that's kind of the point. This phone has allowed me to keep all the things I sort of "need" in my life. Ride sharing apps, google maps, mobile hotspot, email, etc. And those apps are really pretty easy to use even in this small form factor. You won't be composing big responses in your emails, or doing a ton of browsing through social media, and for some of us, that's a positive thing. But, don't be fooled. The phone is completely capable of tackling all the tasks that have kept you tied to your smartphone in the first place. Here are the pros, cons, and some tips.Pros:* First thing I noticed right away is that this cures distracted driving 100%. You won't be tempted to try to use it while driving, because it's kind of impossible.* I love the way it fits in my pocket. Yes, it DOES fit in the coin pocket perfectly! It's barely bigger than a key fob. No more white rectangle wear lines in my jeans.*It's nicely weighted.* The phone processor/ram is fast enough and it has plenty of storage for anything that you should really be wanting to do with it.* The flashlight is bright, and the cameras aren't terrible.*Full Android, play store and all.*FM radio is actually a really great app that even lets you record songs from over the airwaves to save for later. And uses NO data.*The home button is an LED that can pulse different colors to let you know about missed calls or texts.*Expandable storage and removable battery.*Headphone jack.*Built in speaker that isn't awful.Cons:*Screen resolution is low. It would be nice to have just a little more PPI to avoid the blurry or jagged letters on the tiny screen.*Battery life is not quite a full day under moderate usage. This one could also be considered a pro as part of the whole digital detox strategy. You will find yourself wanting to save the phones battery for more important tasks.*Typing is more difficult than you will be used to. I am finding ways around it, voice input, gesture keyboards, but it's still more difficult than it was on my larger phone.*The edges of the touch screen can be inaccurate.Tips:*Install a keyboard like Gboard, or Swiftkey and use gesture input. It helps a ton to swirl around to find your word rather than pinpointing the letter. I also found that Gboard worked great in landscape. This is one of the few phones that you can actually type one handed in landscape. Swiftkey did some strange things in landscape with this.*Install a launcher like nova launcher that gives you gestures from the home screen. I use the gestures in Nova to launch several apps and it saves me from having to press them. I can launch them without looking.*Go into settings, about phone, build number, and click build number repeatedly until it brings up developer options. Inside developer options enable "show visual touches". This will help to know where it's registering your touches when you are on the edge of the screen and having difficulty.*Go to settings, accessibility, and enable magnification. This comes in handy. A triple tap anywhere will magnify the screen and let you more easily tap links or other buttons.I highly recommend this phone. It's something you won't understand until you give it a try!

Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2018

I was looking for a small smart phone and this is definitely small. The price is right too.

First of all, I'm a little old-school when it comes to phones. My first few cell phones would all fit comfortably in the front pocket of my jeans. As phones have grown into portable computers, so has the screen. As of October 2018, a Google search of "compact smart phone" gives results of 6" screen or less with most being around 5.5-6". Add a case and it is easily too large for me to carry comfortably.

Enter the Jelly Pro. If nothing else, I have less lower back pain from sitting lop-sided on my Galaxy. That alone is worth the swap. Although it is slightly smaller than I would have chosen, there aren't many options available. I have been using it for about a month now, so here are the Pros and Cons:

    Pros:
    1. It's tiny. I carry it in my front jeans pocket and it's slightly larger than the average key-fob. Much more comfortable than sitting on a mini-tablet-phone.

    2. The price. $128 to my door, including next-day shipping. In the day of $1100 phones that don't do much more than previous models, this is excellent.

    3. So far, it has done almost anything that other Android based phones do. It has two SIM card slots and a Micro SD slot. I added 128 GB to the unit and it can be configured to either add to the phone's internal 16 GB, or as an "external" USB drive. Also, the battery is replaceable. No print reader, but it does support facial recognition. I have not tried to use that feature yet.

    4. Most others don't realize it's a phone. I've had several people ask if it was an mp3 player.

    5. It's not an iPhone. None of the Apple software that doesn't play well with others.

    Cons (in no particular order):
    1. There is a slight learning curve. Due to it's size, I have had to be more diligent in using the touch screen to minimize typo's and the like. For the keyboard, I have downloaded a couple of large-print keyboard apps which are a little easier to use. Overall, it's not too bad, but typing is slower for me. If you text a lot, you may find it annoying.

    2. Screen is plastic and scratches easily. Get a good stick-on screen protector and put it on as soon as you get it out of the box.

    3. Widgets would not update on factory version of android. I loaded an update which helped substantially, but sometimes they still lag behind. Another update is available, but I have not yet installed it. This issue may be resolved.

    4. Camera is not that great. It's perfectly useable for most situations, but by today's standards some may find it lacking. Don't count on using it for family photos.

    5. 16 GB internal memory. Although this can be expanded to 144 GB via a 128GB Micro SD card, this is rather small by today's standards.

    6. Battery life is short. With minimal use, it will last all day on one charge. If used very much at all, it will need a recharge. The update improved this over the factory installed software, but it's still not quite on par with other mainstream phones.

    7. It's tiny. People may think you're crazy talking to yourself and listening to your hand. During a phone call, you can actually hide the entire phone in your hand.

Overall, I am satisfied with the phone. Most of these issues I was aware of prior to purchase based on reviews from various places. This seems like the type of device that you'll either love or hate. The tradeoffs are well worth the shortcomings in my opinion. If you purchase this, don't expect it to be an iPhone X or a Samsung S9. For a low cost it serves a niche market with a specific purpose and does it quite well.

I love this phone! I use it as a second phone for whenever I leave the house. It's primarily for quick calls and text. I'm a musician and don't like toting around my primary phone, which is huge and more like a computer. We are on Mint Mobile, so adding this second line at $15/month was a no-brainer. It uses a micro sim card and was easy to set up.
The phone is very well made and the charge easily lasts 24 hours, because I'm not using it much when I'm out. That said, I do have my Gmail on it, so I can see any critical info regarding rehearsals or new jobs.
It is easy to read and the Swype and predictive text actually work better than on my big phone.
It is also helping me look at my phone less, especially when driving. Out of sight, out of mind. Much less distracting!
I bought it a little pouch and it stores safely inside my mini crossbody purse. It also fits easily and unobtrusively inside any pocket.
It is very small and adorable, and fits my needs perfectly. I've had it for two weeks now and am thrilled.

Have considered this phone for awhile. Always thought it was just too small. It is better than I had expected. Like it a lot. Basically, use it like a feature phone with a QWERTY and full Android at my fingertips, By smartphone standards, doesnt have Gorilla glass. It performs as well or better, as any entry level phone. A little lag, here and there, a camera that takes usable pics, screen needs more PPI/resolution. Its 115 bucks, who could complain.

I see no difference texting on this compared to a big phone. Sure I make mistakes on both, but predictive text is there to save me. Really its not bad for short conversations. They set this phone up very well. Doesnt have much bloatware other than all the usual Google bloat. Out of the box it had 29 app icons. No Facebook and no Twitter is a real plus for me. Signal strength is pretty good. Its only slightly less than a big phone, and much better than The Palm. The phone has a nice sleek body. but very slippery, The phone is quite beautiful, hated to cover it up. I did buy the cover to improve grip, and works well for that. It has hotspot and wifi calling.

To save on battery and have some semblance of privacy I have all of the following off... GPS, WiFi/Bluetooth-Location Accuracy, Bluetooth, WiFi, Data, VoLTE , and signed out of Google. Also clamped down on App permissions. Use it for calling and texts, and only turn on internet as needed. The battery gets me though the day... Under "normal" smart phone use, the battery wouldnt last very long.

WARNING! there was an issue where two OEM apps requiring 'location' or 'contacts' permissions in order to open. That seems very suspicious so I deactivated them. Loaded two well known antivirus Apps, All good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sehr kleines handliches Smartphone

    me hicieron dudar.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE it

Cutest phone ever, and 100% functional! I got it because I travel all the time and wanted to have my home country SIM in a separate phone (that wouldn’t take up space). Jelly is the perfect solution. My boyfriend got his to take with him on nights out, which is also pretty clever! The touch screen is amazingly good, superb precise functionality. (If you have big fingers you can always use one a screen pen). The only thing is the battery life isn’t the best and I charge it every other day. But with that being the only issue I’m not complaining too much!

Ottimo rapporto qualità / prezzo, molto piccolo e maneggevole. Unica pecca la durata della batteria
