Honesty to the bone

This book has something to offer to people who want a relationship where love lasts. It's about working through the wounding laid down in childhood. that drive and haunt us, and keep us acting out in dysfunctional ways, that ultimately rob us of the true happiness we desire and deserve. The essential wounding for Kenny and Julia is one of abandonment. Julia draws the circle that takes kenny and his children in, over a over. She truly loves selflessly, and I think sometimes to her detriment. But with Kenny, healing could not have been accomplished any other way. Julia was everything to him; she loved completely. However their story ended, I will say that the two of them were incredibly brave and fearlessly committed. I am awed by the power of their love. They are an inspiration to their children and to all who read about their incredible journey; together or separate, I hope their healing continues. Many thanks, for your insight. God bless.

Don't Look To This Book To Solve Your Problems!

Like many, I bought this book in 1997 and found it an inspirational love story. Apparently, others looked to the Loggins' marriage as a path for their own stability. Alas, the marriage ended in 2004 so, like so many others, it is great to give advice to others but they don't follow it themselves. Just another example for readers to look to their own souls to determine the right path and don't rely on anyone else. The only saving grace is that my wife and I married almost ten years before the Loggins marriage did and, after almost 23 years, we still are together (not perfect..at least I am not). Maybe I should write a book-my track record is better than Kenny and Julia Loggins (or,potentially, my own parents, who were married for 55 years!)

Co-Committment: the road to healing issues together

This book has transformed more than a dozen lives that I personally know...including a corporate trainer and his wife. Kenny and Julia show us their mundane, common fears, as individuals and a couple. They are eachother's mirror, making infinitly clear their shadow side. Instead of hiding, shrinking and running away (which they both did), they return to stick it out, work it out, and discover Spirit's answer to the questions that come up for all of us committed to co-create BIG LOVE! Are you up to playing a BIG GAME? The game of BIG LOVE? Then The Unimaginable Life will inspire, direct,and affirm that hearts knit together can stretch, bend, enfold and embrace one antoher. Shadows come up, get healed, and deliberately create a new space for the Light of Love to be at Home. Relationship is the Laser modality for experiencing our higher purpose and reason for being on this planet.

The book is so real. Filled with the ghosts and scars of the past and sorting through their feelings and emotions with poetic love inspired prose, bearing their souls. I wish that they taught a workshop for a weekend somewhere. In fact, I mentioned it to the program director of the Omega Institute that he ought to extend an invitation to lead a seminar.You are pathfinders on the path of love.

Compelling story of two people discovering great love.

This book is a must for everyone who wants to give and receive love and develop relationships with great depth and meaning. It is a voyage of transformation and overcoming our self-created blocks to achieving the blissful life.
It is beautifully written, full of truth and generous self-revelation. It welcomes you into the authors'lives as they find themselves and their great love.
It has greatly influenced and improved my own relationships and lead me to a deeper spirituality.
This book is a gift to the world.

Stick to Music

My wife started reading this "book" and couldn't get through it. I picked it up and found it to be simply too bad to get much out of. What is the humor in having an allergic reaction to spermicidal cream while you are committing adultery? Wait until your Golden Anniversary to start handing out the advice and becoming a model for others. Sad to see a fellow Washingtonian going California on me!
