The designer of this toddler rail may not have kids because anyone who does have a child knows most do not stay still all night. It only took 1 week for my toddler to fall out of bed with this rail installed. I don't know why they couldn't extend it longer, or at least make them in the same colors as the crib that matches it. I need to figure out a way to cover more of the crib opening so I can get some sleep without worrying about my baby falling out of bed. On top of this poor design, the price of this single half rail costs more than half the price of the whole crib- give us a break!
We actually flipped this upside down and used it as a stabilizer for the crib. Needed to Gerry-rig it a little, but worked great once we got it setup. Only disappointing thing is we couldn't get it in the blue color we purchased the crib in.
Why would anyone make this short like this?! They are cheaping out on adding a few extra bars in exchange for child safety. This is not even half the length of the crib. Child easily falls off crib. This person who designed this either has no kids or is trying to save on material cost or both. Horrible design. Helloooooo?????....... needs to be fixed right away.
So disappointed. I bought this for Christmas for our son’s Union grey crib to convert when he was ready. We’ve only been using it for about 2 months. My husband leaned on it while kissing our son goodnight and it literally snapped. It worked great until then. I don’t understand how it could have happened, because my husband is not a large man, and we were not hard on it. I wonder if we just got a weak one or if they’re all like that?
