These Gold Pirate Coins are a real treasure! I ordered two bags of these for my daughter's Jake and The Neverland Pirates themed Birthday Party. They are a great value you get 144 plastic coins for under $5! They are plastic two sided gold coins with an engraved treasure chest on one side and skull & crossbones on the other. They are a bright yellow-gold color so very vivid in photos. We used them in so many different ways. I put them in centerpieces, scattered them on tables, buried them in the sand in the treasure dig and as cupcake toppers as well.

You get what you pay for!

Very cheap.... but as they say you get what you pay for. Our kids play with Pirate toys a lot so we thought it would be neat to have a large amount of gold coins. They work well for the most part but they snap in half very easily. Not the most sturdy or durable "plastic like" substance.

We have a couple sand boxes in our back yard so I throw some of these in and cover them up for the kids to find. Also put some in a pirate chest and use them in our toy cash register (not chokable size like fake coins.) Cheap enough that I will take some to the sand box at the local park and leave them behind for other kids to dig up as well.

We bought these for our treasure box we have at work. If a child is good while shipping in the store with their parent, they can select a toy from our toy box . It gives them an incentive to be safe in the store and stay by their parents side. Pirate treasure is always a favorite gI've it is a chest maDE in the fashion of a pirates treasure cheat. Very cute.
These were great. You get 144 in the package so that helps a lot of kids be good! They are plastic coins and are large enough that they aren't too much of a choking hazard though I always caution parental guidance with any toys because ultimately they can all become choking hazards. The designs were cute and they brought smiles so all in all that is a win in my book. I would recomend these. They would also be great for goodie bags or for a themed birthday party scattered across the table. Over all a good buy that I would recommend.

Ordered by mistake... thought they were the bigger "caught being good" colored coins but my 2-1/2 year old loves them!

When I purchased these I thought I was purchasing the big "caught being good" coins for my 2-1/2 year old. When they arrived and I saw that they were actually pirate coins I was disappointed that I had made the error but my little guy likes them even more than the colored ones... who knew!??! After a month or so, I still use these as rewards for good behavior as well as the colored ones and stickers and other random little rewards) He has a little pirates chest that he keeps the coins in... super cute and an easy way to reinforce good behavior!

These were pretty flimsy plastic

These were pretty flimsy plastic. A majority of the coins in my package were cracked or broken into multiple pieces. Luckily, I was only using them as part of a gag gift. The coins look exactly like packaged, but just not as nice as i thought they would be.
