We have a PTSD anxious cat. Sometimes she would pee in corners. We put puppy pee pads in these corners all the time after the first few episodes and trying different products (that didn't completely work) to get the scent out. We believe that previous homeowners probably had a pet that peed in the same places so she was trying to keep marking her territory. After using this product several times in several corners, she almost completely stopped. Then we also used the spray for wood and walls and sprayed the trim and then she stopped going on the pee pads. We also discovered she prefers traditional clay clumping hypoallergenic litter over the more natural shavings. We now have a house that doesn't look like puppy training central or smell like a litter box. This product is amazing. By the way,you have to use it several times and follow the instructions, water very warm to touch when mixing the solution and do treatments until no more urine soaks in to the towels.
It was cheaper than recarpeting parts of the house because the carpet is still in good shape, so for what we wanted,it was a good value.
Remember, we think the previous owners pet peed in the corners and some of the flooring was put in to replace damaged carpet, etc. So, we didn't smell anything but the cat did!
