The Ball Doctor Leak and Flat Fix-Repair Kit by Unique Sports Products helps fix sports balls with leaks and punctures. Works on most valve inflatable balls without a bladder. One syringe is enough for one average size ball (standard basketball, volleyball, football, etc) with minor leaks. Instructions: 1. Insert the syringe tip into the ball valve and depress the plunger. 2. Pump up the ball with air and bounce vigorously for several minutes. *Note: Does not repair a broken valve.

This has brought back to life 8 soccer balls in my family likely saving me $240! Instant return on investment. I bought the ball doctor single and the. Went back in for more. The description says it will not work on balls with a bladder, but all my soccer balls are like that and it has worked. We live in Arizona and my son often hits cactus or other thorny bushes and creates large gashes in his soccer balls. This plugs them right up.

This stuff is junk. Followed the simple instructions and it failed to inject into the ball. Instead it came out the back side of the plunger. Removed it to check and no matter how much force I gave the plunger, nothing came out. Even tried clipping the end. Still no sealer. I wouldn’t recommend buying this on a bet.
UPDATE:
Decided to try it again and it worked as advertised as far as filling the volleyball with fluid. Now hoping it fixes the problem. Will update again after a few days.

We had a basketball that would consistently go flat after about one day. After adding Ball Doctor it now holds its air again. You need to read the directions carefully - I can see how some people could use this incorrectly.

BTW this package is a SINGLE USAGE. You use the entire tube to repair one ball. This wasn't obvious to me when I was buying it.

Might not be 100% fair to give it 1 star, but it didn't work. I thought an instructional video would have been nice. But I followed directions in an attempt to fix a old high school football. I felt as though I was doing CPR on a patient, after injecting the entire syringe, i blew it up. Gave it 30 compressions. Still leaking. Re-inflated. 30 compressions...etc.. After 10-15 mins I pronounced the ball dead, 8:32PM PST. RIP.

I have a brand new competition volleyball that sprung a small leak. It was $60 - so I thought I'd give this goo a try for $8. Seemingly, it worked! volleyball hasn't lost air after several practices - and my daughter says there is no performance difference. I spent a lot of time shaking and bouncing it to make sure the sealant was distributed evenly. I give it 4 stars because the syringe is pretty flimsy and it felt like the needle was going to snap off at any minute. Be careful, take your time - you'll be fine!

I would say it was a bit hard to use at first. One important thing I learned was that you have to really let the ball deflate as much as possible - like squeeze every last bit of air out. Also I found it hard to stick the whole syringe into the football, and it might have permanently widened the nozzle hole, but it did work! Ball holds air great now, even though the ball uses a bladder. I don't know if a whole syringe is needed for a football, but I used it anyways. I suppose for lesser leaks, you could use about half the syringe. Anyways, the only reason why it is not a 5 star is because it was pretty hard to use at first, and it got pretty messy.

I purchased this item in the hope that it might inflate an old rugby ball. One of the 3 main claims on the product description is that it "works on any type of inflatable ball". Not according to the instructions on the packet e.g. it states in bold type "WILL NOT SEAL LEAKS IN BALLS WITH BLADDER". My rugby ball has a bladder and clearly I wouldn't have ordered this item had that been made clear on the description. It may well work in other circumstances, but this one will be going back to Amazon for refund!

My son kicked his favourite football (Soccer ball) into our hawthorn hedge and got a puncture. We used the ball doctor kit and the puncture was fixed. He did the exact same thing a couple of days later. After re-inflating the ball and following the instructions again the ball was fixed again.

The only down side is that it can be used on only one ball but it does appear to keep working.
