I've had a nice leather volleyball that lost nearly all of its pressure in about an hour. I believe the bladder had dried and possibly cracked a little. I bought this to see it would work. It worked! Instructions are basically to squirt the contents of the syringe into the ball, fill with air and play with it right away. The idea is that it will slosh the rubbery fluid around filling in any crevises that may be in there. My ball now holds air! The only downside is that there is a weight gain to the ball. Basically the weight of the fluid material being added to the ball. Being that it was a fairly light volleyball, it feels quite a bit heavier than before. It's still useable/playable and no longer worthless, just heavier.

I've used this on 2 punctured soccer balls...it worked better than I expected after reading some of the reviews. Both balls have held air for 4 weeks (and counting). Follow directions PRECISELY and it works. Make sure ball is partially DEFLATED, insert 1/2 - 1 oz of Ball Doctor using syringe, immediately re-inflate, and bounce repaired ball for about 2 minutes to coat inside of ball! That's it...ball is immediately ready for use after following those steps.

I'm sure it depends on the ball and the reason it's going flat, but this did not do the job for me. Plus, it's only a 1-time use thing. Maybe there's some value to paying to get the applicator and the liquid adhesive separately.

Worked as advertised. Used it on a soccer ball that wouldn't stay pumped up. Was a little difficult to get the tip into the valve hole at the start (that's why its 4 stars instead of 5).

PROs: works as advertised

CONs:
- Have to fully deflate ball before you start, which makes it harder to get the tube end into the valve hole
- Single use

I tried to fix a balance ball with this and it worked for about a day, slowing the leak, but not pluggin it completely.

I'm being kind to give this product 2 stars. It didn't stop the leak in either ball I used it on. It just slowed down the deflating process a bit. I followed the directions exactly. I'm guessing you may need to pump the whole tub to get it to work. Won't buy this product again.

I purchased this in hopes that my $50 Tachikara ball could be saved after a puncture with a staple. I followed the instructions closely, including bunching and rolling it around to ensure even coating on the inside. It did seal the ball well. No leaks for the weeks now. For casual use the ball is now functional, but it is slightly heavier and just a little off balance. My more discriminating player friends and I find it just bad enough that we don't use it for our regular games any more. I will keep it to practice setting, but will have to buy a new ball for the games.

I had two new (cheap) basketballs ... landed on some goat heads ... perforated the balls and they went flat (slow leaks). Squeezed half of product into each ball ... it worked! The plastic nozzle protector was hard to take off and instructions were lacking ... but it worked for me. I would buy it again.
