Product Description

1 1/4 fl. oz. Handy no-sew adhesive that permanently bonds fabric to fabric. Drys clear and flexible. Fast drying and washable. Great for costumes, home dec and craft projects. Works on all weights of fabric from very sheer to heavy duty. Instructions: Protect work surface with a paper towel. Unscrew cap. Tube is ready to use.Use a straight pin to clean clogged nozzle. Replace cap when tube is not in use. Gently squeeze tube from bottom directly onto back of fabric. Smooth adhesive with finger or small brush. (Washes off finger easily) If hemming or positioning an applique apply adhesive within entire hem or applique area making sure adhesive is spread evenly to outer edge of fabric. Use gentle finger pressure to position applique or overlap hem. Allow bond to set a few minutes then apply heavy finger pressure and allow to set 30 minutes before ironing or wearing. DO NOT WASH FOR 24 HOURS AFTER BONDING Metal hair clips are ideal to hold hems or applique in place while adhesive sets. Pins can be used on heavy fabrics, but DO NOT PIN LIGHT WEIGHT OR 100 PERCENT POLYESTER FABRICS as the heavy finger pressure needed to place pins causes seepage. TIPS- light application for sheer and light weight fabrics, Medium for blends of natural and synthetic fibers, Heavy for denim, corduroy or canvas. Place aluminum foil under fabric before applying Unique Stitch to prevent seepage onto work surface.

I made pillow slip covers with this stuff and it is STURDY. It was recommended to me from one of the DIY blogs I follow, and it did not disappoint. The slip covers have been on my pillows for several weeks without issue and I intend to use it to hem some drapes as well (I do not sew......). Very pleased with the outcome.

Be aware that this product is 100% better than the dritz liquid stitch for repairs, applique and basting or stitchless hemming. I accidently bought the Dritz liquid stitch because they have copied the tube and lettering of this product and Dritz product was terrible!!

Use this with confidence for pinless basting and all of your repairs. I even used it to repair a seam on the upholstery of a huge chair that gets lots of abuse and use and it has held for years.

I am NOT in any way, shape, or form talented when it comes to sewing. In the past I had relied on Stitch Witch to get me by, however, that product would not work on the specific project I was currently working on. This product worked just as it said it would. All you need is a thin line of it (works and looks similar to Elmer's glue) and a few seconds of pressing and it's set! I would caution you to place something under the project you're working on that you don't mind getting a bit sticky, as this will leave a bit of a residue on whatever surface it is you're working on.

Wow is all I can say. This stuff is a miracle. I am amazed how I can fix a pocket my husband ripped on a pair of dress pants. To this day it still holds after washing and drying. 5 stars is what I give this product. It truly is amazing.

I am a quilter and a seamstress. I've tried a lot of different glues over the years, but this is the best fabric glue I've found. It's easy to apply, dries clear, remains flexible, is washable, and dries fast. I use it for gluing embellishments and trims onto quilts, as well as mending and facings and hems. The main thing I use it for is gluing down hanging sleeves on quilts, instead of handsewing. I highly recommend this glue!

it worked well on the seem of a sheer slip of a dress, but I had a hole in the center of another sheer material skirt and it just wouldn't hold. I guess it really depends on the placement. it dried and looked like clear rubber, almost unnoticeable at the seam

First time I used this product, I expected my Ugly Sweater felt designs to come loose/fall off my sweater when I went to wash it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not the case. I have since used it for other projects and have not been disapointed yet.

An acquaintance recommended this product. I purchased it for a hole I needed to fix in a lightweight cardigan. I followed the instructions (it is messy, however I figured there was probably a bit of a learning curve to making it less messy). It comes out white but dries clear. It took a long time to dry, and it dries into a hard spot. I was still ok with this. The instructions tell you to wait 24 hours until washing, so I waited 3 days. I put it in the laundry (a cold wash), and when I took it out of the washing machine, the glue had gone back into a white liquid and had smeared on various areas of the cardigan. Thankfully I haven't noticed this on any of the other clothes that were in the load. I will not use this product again.
