This Unisource TSVO PTFE hose assembly is suitable for conveying chemicals or gases in applications requiring a flexible hose. Its convoluted tube provides improved flexibility over smooth-bore hoses and is constructed with PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) for resistance to chemicals and high temperatures. Its reinforced cover made of PTFE-impregnated fiberglass and 300 series stainless steel wire braid provides the strength for its maximum pressure rating. This hose can withstand temperatures ranging from -65 to +450 degrees F, and comes equipped with two factory-installed stainless steel male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded fittings. This hose assembly is suitable for a variety of applications in chemical plants, food processing and pharmaceutical plants, pulp and paper mills, oil refineries, and others. Industrial hoses transfer or convey air or liquid in hose systems.
