The knives are pretty solid stainless steel. The blades aren't very sharp but that's easily remedied. The sheath is strong nylon except for the buckle that holds the knives in the sheath. The first time i pulled on it it started to fray and came apart around the buckle. The blades have a pleasing design to them. Other than the sheath's buckle it is a very solid product.

This set of 3 throwing knifes is a good entry level knife. The knife itself has thumb groves toward the blade to keep your thumb from sliding forward onto the blade.

Throwing the light blades took some time to get used to but I'm now able to get the blade to stick every thorw.

when i first opened it i was disappointed because of how short they are. they are very sensitive to spin. if your are 6" too close it will over rotate. they also tend to "flutter" (spin sideways) if your fingers are placed incorrectly. i fixed that by buying heavier set of knives. but over all they are a perfect set of knives if you are just seeing if you are interested in the sport

This thunderbird has struck many targets. When I purchased these I felt a certain energy within them and I had made
Plans to go
Out and practice all day with just one. So the day finally
Came when I went and set up wooden planks and boards to hit not trees because they have not hit a living organism yet for that is not their
Purpose until the time is right. When the moment came I could feel that energy growing stronger. When I held it in my hand I stared at the target moved my arm back and with a sudden burst of energy the knife was thrown. I must have been overwhelmed by its power because the first throw hit the board with such a powerful force it actually
Split the board
Completely
In half almost hitting the tree it was leaned up against. And the board breaking sounded like thunder. And when it struck I looked up and heard the battle cry of a mighty hawk. If you need a strong throwing knife This is the one!

So I bought These knifes because they were not only cheep, but the amazon price was temporarily cut in half for about 4 bucks so I bought it without hesitation.
Unlike other throwing knives that are easy to throw and land on your target, this one is about 50 times more difficult. At first I thought they were crap because it took me approximately 85 throws before I could figure out the trick to throw them, and land my first hit.
It took 3 weeks of practice to be able to throw them one at a time and be able to land all 3 in a row, however my success at landing them is still below 9 out of 10.
I found out the trick is to keep the elbow of your dominant arm facing forward, and hold the back of the handle with only the top of edge of your thumb and index finger. Next your suposed to bend your arm back all the way, while still keeping the elbow pointing toward your target. At a moderate speed you must straighten your arm but keep your hand in a solid position and RIGHT as your arm straightens all the way you must let it slide while curving it as if your trying to make it spin in midair as it leaves your hands.
The Tips bend easily if you miss, or don't land properly, but are easily reflattenable when sharpened by a standard kitchen knife sharpening stone. (it's what you get for having stainless steel material) But who cares, you can't expect throwing knives to be made of better material, otherwise it's like buying golden bullets, their made of good material but useless after fired and unretreivable.
I would only recomend buying if Your only a proffessional, do not buy if you were like me and just needed a quick set of blades to throw for amusement, because it could be very frustrating when your first 85 throws bounce off of the targeting board and almost hit you.

Bought these at an amazing price! They are small though, but that is stated in the description so it's expected. Nice design to it and has a good feel in your hand. The sheath is nice too with a pouch for each blade and 2 elastic bands on the back, again though, is small, would be tight if you decide to put it on your wrist. The blades are dullish if you plan on actually use them as throwing knives, but can just as easily be sharpened. I plan to buy 2 more sets as gifts for my brother and my friend who collects weapons. The box is cardboard, but is done nicely. It arrived alot quicker than I expected and in excellent condition! Combine that with the price, easily a 5 star buy!

It is probably me. I did not really buy these for throwing, but I did try. Hit the target two of nine. Not too good. But they are sharp and small. Easy to conceal, say under a boot sole or inside a big belt. Not much of a weapon but might be handy if you are ever in a pinch.

They're alright. They are a little small for good knife throwing, but the size makes them easy to carry. Weighted well, and seem good quality. Don't really like the holes in the handle, they seem to make throwing a bit more complicated. They catch on your palm and fingers so don't really allow a smooth release...or it could just be that I suck at knife throwing. Still I'm going to try a larger set with smooth handles.
