I bought this with low expectations, but its working great!! No real issues. I put bags of rice to help with fog, added velcro to camera body and bag to help with control. I rigged it up really well and its been amazing having the opportunity to do this work.

READ MY REVIEW if you are hesitant on buying

Was hesitant to use this but I bought a platinum warranty on my camera so I was covered either way should it flood.

I took this scuba diving in the florida keys with my Nikon d3300 camera with a 18-55 lens. First off the pouch fit very well and wasn't difficult at all to set it up. the controls are all pretty easy to reach with the finger holes.

The manual says this goes to about 30 feet and that's exactly how deep I took it. What you'll notice the deeper you go the less and less air you'll have in the case and it will start suctioning to your camera making it skin tight. If you went much farther than 30 feet I would be afraid of damage to your camera with how tight the casing gets. Make sure to trap as much air in the bag before going down so you have more leeway.

The pictures came out great. Unfortunately I had my camera on the wrong settings underwater so the white balance is way off making everything blue and not that colorful but I left two pictures to show you guys that the pictures are still very clear and not ruined by the lens. One in water and one on land.

If you are planning on going deeper than 30 ft or really like to mess with the setting a lot I would recommend getting one of those pricey fixed casings as when the case suctions to the camera it restricts movement.

If you're hesitant go ahead a shoot me any questions. I'm very satisfied with this and the extremely cheap price compared to most waterproof cases.

*****last note for scuba divers the air in the camera bag will offset some of your weight so you may need extra weights to allow you to actually sink when using this. I had to add another five pounds I think.

Very happy with this. I didn't purchase it for underwater use, although it may get used for that in the future. I bought it to keep my camera dry while kayaking and still be able to take photos. Very happy.

Will keep your camera dry, difficult to adjust settings in the bag (ISO, F-stop, Focus), best if used with auto shooting mode.

I bought this product so that I could shoot from my canoe without worrying about dropping it in the water or it getting splashed. I don't doubt that it would work to that end, so as a dry bag, totally effective. The problem comes when its time to shoot. There are several things that made this problematic. First off the rubber ring they provide that goes over the end of the camera lens, got caught up in the manual focus ring, making it impossible for me to focus with it on. The finger holes provided are placed well, but are still difficult to use. My camera has a press-able track wheel that you use to got through menu functions. Using the finger holes, it was impossible for me to move the track wheel around, without accidentally pressing the track button itself. Because of the difficulty adjusting settings on the camera this product would probably be best suited for a camera with fully automatic shooting modes and auto focus lenses. Another problem for me was that the bag is huge, this may be fine for a larger DSLR camera, but I use a Sony A6000, which left a lot of wiggle room and made it difficult to keep the lens in the lens tube. The tube itself is very long, which is nice if you are using a longer lens, I was using a 50mm lens and had difficulty getting the lens window on the bag to touch the end of the lens itself. I guess this is not necessary, but I imagine your best images would come from having your lens as close to the lens window as possible. This would probably be a lot easier with the bag submerged because the water pressure would keep things nice and tight in the bag, so perhaps this is an operator error. Lastly one of the three cams that lock the bag shut fell out while using the bag, and was subsequently lost. I still feel the bag closed securely with just the two, but nothing holds the locking cams in place if they are not in the locked position, so they can just fall out. Bottom line is that you have a better chance of shooting out of this bag than just a regular dry bag, so if you absolutely need to waterproof your camera and still be able to shoot this product may work for you. I ended up just taking the camera out of the bag when I wanted to shoot and putting it back when I was done to protect it when not in use.

Use Carefully

It works! Naturally you should use extreme care to make sure it is undamaged and securely closed before you put your camera into the water.

I wouldn't put a $5,000 camera into this but it's great for your $500 camera.

The top can have some air in it which might freak you out the first time you put it in the water and have air bubbles coming up, leading you to *think* there is a leak when there isn't.

Practical Tip: Most likely you'll be shooting "blind" underwater anyway so wrap a towel under, behind and over your camera so just in case you do have a small leak the towel can absorb water rather than soaking the insides of your camera!

Practical Tip #2: Do a test shot to see how it performs with certain settings. Then set your camera on manual using the previous test shot results to guide to to good settings to use. Forget trying to adjust any settings while your camera is inside this bag.

Suggestions for a great case!

So far so good. I had the opportunity to try this case out in a pool. It kept the camera nice and dry and I can imagine it can be used on the beach to keep the sand out also.

I was able to fit my Canon 5D Mark III with a 24-105L lens in the case. The lens will be loose in the lens compartment of the case, but one idea I tried was to wrap the lens with sheet styrofoam. This makes the lens nice and snug in the lens compartment. This also allowed for gripping the camera by the lens with my left hand as I usually do without the case.

Another suggestion from a YouTuber is to put some weights in the bag as the air the bag keeps the bag afloat somewhat. I'm looking forward to trying this out again soon. Look up YouTube for underwater shoots for ideas. It's especially nice if you're into portrait photography.

Terrible customer service, and poor product

I made the mistake of buying this product more than 30 days before my wife birthday! They gave me a 2 week delivery window before Christmas, and we were away after, so I wanted it in hand for her birthday at the end of January. The product was supposed to fit a Canon DLSR 5D Mk 4, and it does not. Way too tight!. So, tried to return it immediately. The only answer I got over and over again is that is 30 days past the order so too bad for you. Unbelievable. A terrible product with even worse customer service. This is the first negative review I have ever done, if that helps to give an idea of how bad the service was. Do not order from this distributor, or this product. Save yourself some grief.
