I have found other products to be cheaper than Animal Rage, but it is not a deciding factor when choosing which product I really enjoy. I am constantly changing products as my workout routine is always changing, it helps to keep my body in constant learning state. You get 44 servings so it is less than $1 per and my rule of thumb is simple: If you have to pay over $1 per workout, you overpaid!
As my title states; Grrrrr! It works! I do suggest you take a break from it once you finish the container because this stuff is strong. Animal is known for the effective products and combination of known ingredients that actually work. Be aware that you should not take this anytime after 4 PM or you will truly have a hard time going to sleep, it is strong but it will not give you the jitters. You will have sustained energy, so I recommend it for those of you who enjoy working out in the morning.
The taste is horrible! The dosage instructions tell you to mix it with 4 oz of water and drink it quickly, well I realized the reason behind that is because of the strong flavor it carries. If you are serious about your workouts, this is a minor issue if an issue at all, but if you are looking for something you can sip before your workout.. then this is not for you.

I had to deduct a star because a combination of value and taste. I tried other supplements that are cheaper, effective, and provide more servings with a much desired taste.Read more ›
The results were awesome. I work out first thing in the morning, mainly focusing on cardio and hiit training. I used to try to do shots of energy drinks or small breakfasts, etc, to start the motor running, but none proved lasting and super effective. Rage was both. Furthermore, at least for me, the effect lasted all day, so I was not only pumped for a 7am workout, but pumped about work and about school. Did wonders for productivity, and I saw my consumption of ancillary caffeine products (coffee, energy drinks) drop because they were no longer needed. The energy you get is crisp and focused, not jittery. I will say, however, that the full dose proved too much (I wanted to rip my face off), but this might be because this was the first product of this kind I had tried. So I do half servings, and get the above results. Also, I take this on an empty stomach in the morning, and have had none of the digestive symptoms described by another user (of course I also have a high fiber diet and take probiotics daily, so my digestive tract is pretty healthy). I saw rapid improvement of definition and tone, and I am not sure how much of this to directly attribute to the product and how much to attribute to the fact that I was able to work out longer and harder due to the energy increase. I don't know if I have ever sweat so much in my life.
I would certainly suggest this.Read more ›
The price is great too. I've seen some people say it's not a great value but I disagree. Buying here on Amazon, the price is less than $1 a scoop/serving. Pre-workout supplements in general aren't inexpensive and I get that this isn't exactly inexpensive, but it's a good value. Pre-workout supplements are a luxury anyway. Anything beyond protein shakes, creatine, BCAAs, Glutamine, and a good multi-vitamin should be looked at as a luxury supplement. You're not going to die without it so only buy it if you have the expendable income for it. That said, this will cost you 1/4 what a Starbucks coffee will and is even less than a Dunkin' or Timmy-Ho's coffee so I really think the price complaint is a lack of perspective.
It baffles me that anyone would rate a product like this on flavor yet that seems to be the most frequent criticism. You know what else isn't incredibly tasty? Raw broccoli. Guess how good it is though. While I expect my supplement companies to take measures to make sure I can get their product down my throat, that's about where my demands stop. The only supplement this should be a concern with is your protein drink, which is more a food than a supp anyway. So bottom line - don't take any reviewer seriously who whines about taste. Besides, this isn't the worst tasting thing in the world; and if you mix it with 6 ounces of water instead of the suggested 4 it's much more palatable.

Got this expecting it to be better flavored. It tasted like chalk dust with a hint of chemical watermelon. UghPublished 20 months ago by Max

I thought I would change things up a bit and try this one. I normally like just about anything and normally use the Lean Machine by the company that makes C4. Read morePublished on April 21, 2014 by Amazon Customer
The SLAUGHTERMELON name is awesome so I ordered it. It tastes horrible and I don't think there are any actual slaughtermelons in it. Read morePublished on March 5, 2014 by W. R. Thorne
