Been in a store line that didn't accept cash yet? If not yet, then you will. Don't like self service registers? Soon you will have no choice. Think ann imbedded chip for ID is scary? Or a tattoo on your hand (or forehead?) Is impossible??? Then read this book. Slightly contrived ending but riveting main idea, and a clear understanding of human nature. Worth yout time.

Judging by the cover artwork, I was convinced that this is was going to be zombie related story. But it was far from it.

It is an interesting premise - in a nutshell it was seeing a possible consequence or an alternative reality if society becomes a cashless society.

Elisha is someone that I could relate to, where she took her friend’s (Emily) advice and constantly questioning the world and what it has become. Interesting ending where everything came to light and with the events that happened - somehow makes sense.

I look forward to read more stories from the author.
