truly listening to men and understanding what they need from their wives and how so many wives are failing to deliver on those
wants and needs. For examples she says truly that men need respect and admiration. According to Dr Harley(His Needs Her Needs)
respect is men's number one need so she speaks truly. Lori also demonstrates how to cut down on conflict in the marriage.
She then goes on to instruct women that men do things differently and that women should stop demanding that men do it her way and
only her way. No one responds well to these dictatorial demands. I had a client who re-folded the towels after her husband washed them
and folded them. Far too many women think that their way is the only right way and then they wonder why men just stop helping.
She understands that men want and need to see their wives in lacy frilly lingerie and suggests that women invest in new sexy lingerie.
The overwhelming majority of women wear "plain jane" white nylon virginal panties with no lacy trim and utilitarian bras. You are no longer a virgin so why
are you wearing these and forcing them on your husband. I believe that most women have been so negatively conditioned by well
meaning churches and grew up learning that "sex is bad, dirty and wrong and that good girls don't do it". The churches never
teach all the sex positive messages from the Bible.
Lori suggests doubling a woman's rate of frequency to twice a week. The problem is that she does not get to the root
of why wives subject their husbands to a STARVATION DIET OF SEX ONCE A WEEK OR LESS. It is because so many
men are clueless about women's sexuality and are stuck in that old adolescent sexuality of "wham bam thank you maam roll
over and go to sleep." This is because there is no "school for sex" to teach men how to give their wives great sex. If a man
gave his wife multiple screaming orgasms she would never deny him. This is backed by Kinsey statistics which state
that a whopping 72% of all married women over thirty have their husbands on a diet of sex once a week or less. This coincides
with the stat that 20-25% of women can orgasm on intercourse alone. Men in their 30s require sexual relief 3-5 times a week so
even at twice a week they are forced to masturbate alone to relieve themselves. Sex is not an option for men like it is
So while I applaud her book, I believe that it does not provide enough solutions so that is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5.
