And the secondary characters are fabulous = Jett's sister, Harper has no filter and his two BFF, Kade and EAston I can not wait to hear more of them....
Jett is all business and no play.. Until he sees Quinn, who happened to go to a party with her friend one night... Quinn who has Been taking care of her mother (an alcoholic) most of her life and putting her life on hold.. Until she meets, Jett.. These two are so great together, yet talk about Drama... Cute book with a lot of spice!!!
There were also some writing mistakes in which things were assumed instead of being included. Like when Callie calls Avery regarding Quinn, Callie doesn't say anything about Quinn but somehow Avery knows that's why this random lady is calling? Just some weird things like that.
Also the whole issues with Quinn's mom were odd. First see has a drinking problem and Quinn is bitter and angry and then suddenly she is dying from cancer. It almost seemed like the author just wanted to get rid of the mom so that Quinn could have sleepovers with Jett without feeling guilty.
Also the dad thing seemed unrealistic. I kept waiting for him to be a fraud but nope they just automatically have this amazing relationship as if he was a dad for the whole 25 years instead of locked away in prison for murder.
And then near the end.... The whole Spencer's bar fight was just totally thrown in from left field and seemed out of place. Like the authors last minute attempt to add more action to the plot. I think that had potential and could have been executed better or just left out completely.
We didn't get an in depth look into Jett in Loving Colton, so you didn't see that he could be knocked on his butt so quickly by his true to life soul mate.
I will be waiting eagerly for the next in the series after the peek into Harper's story.
