The Unprotected Class: How Anti-White Racism Is Tearing America Apart Hardcover – April 23, 2024

Purchase options and add-ons

“A prescient, landmark book that finally calls out those who for far too long have claimed victimhood even as they fueled a toxic brand of tribal chauvinism.”
—Victor Davis Hanson, Senior Fellow, The Hoover Institution, Stanford University, and author of The Dying Citizen

While political and media elites hysterically condemn an imaginary epidemic of “white supremacy,” in the real world, white Americans are often openly discriminated against. Indeed, anti-white policies have become so interwoven in the fabric of American life that we often fail to recognize them.

Launched with a laudable appeal to justice for all, regardless of skin color, the civil rights movement has increasingly betrayed that vision. As activists look for racism where it no longer exists, the failure to achieve perfect equality of outcomes is now used to justify discrimination against whites in business, education, law, the military, entertainment, and even the church.

The Unprotected Class provides a comprehensive explanation of how we got here and what we must do to correct our dangerous course.

“Jeremy Carl is terrific. . . Everybody go buy the book. They’re going to do their best to censor it, to smear it, and to slander it.  It’s a significant accomplishment.”
Charlie Kirk, Founder and President, Turning Point USA

“What a great book!
The Unprotected Class demolishes the false narratives about race that have captured many American institutions."
—Peter Kirsanow, Commissioner, United States Commission on Civil Rights

Review

Praise for The Unprotected Class:

“In a country where being racist is the ultimate sin, how has our ruling class gotten away with attacking the majority of Americans on the basis of their race? And what exactly is the purpose of anti-white hate? The answer is scary, and this outstanding book explains.”
Tucker Carlson

“They’re going to hide this behind the Michelle Obama Biography. Check out the book
, The Unprotected Class.  Make it part of the conversation.  When that becomes normalized it becomes much harder to perpetuate the nonsense.”
—Donald Trump Jr.

“Jeremy Carl bravely exposes, documents, and names the racialist ideology that is tearing America apart…A must-read as America enters a pivotal phase of the Culture War.”
Christopher Rufo, Senior Fellow, the Manhattan Institute, and author of America’s Cultural Revolution

“Jeremy Carl is terrific. . . Everybody go buy the book. They’re going to do their best to censor it, to smear it, and to slander it.  It’s a significant accomplishment.”
Charlie Kirk, Founder and President, Turning Point USA

"It's an extraordinary book and everybody ought to read it"
—Steve Bannon, former White House Chief of Staff

“There are few greater taboos in public discourse than using the word ‘white’ non-pejoratively. Jeremy Carl explains this taboo—and breaks it, in the hope of saving the U.S. from a future of ever-worsening race relations.”
—Heather Mac Donald, author of When Race Trumps Merit

"An important new book on a topic of great interest"
—Dinesh D'Souza, bestselling author and filmmaker.

“An extremely intelligent, daring and actually courageous book and I don’t use that term lightly.”
—Andrew Klavan, bestselling author and host, The Andrew Klavan Show.

“A stunning work of exceedingly rare bravery, and indeed of patriotism. Jeremy Carl tells urgent truths that until now, few if any intellectuals of his stature have had the courage to say.”
—Rod Dreher, author of Live Not by Lies

“What a great book!
The Unprotected Class demolishes the false narratives about race that have captured many American institutions and provides essential intellectual ammunition to refute such lies.”
—Peter Kirsanow, Commissioner, United States Commission on Civil Rights

“A very hot book right now . . .  We might as well have a real conversation about what's happening in America.”
—Congressman Matt Gaetz

“What Carl is doing in this book is a very dangerous adventure, and he does it brilliantly. . . If you want a book on this problem of race relations in America, this is a book you could feel free to give to your pastor or your cousin.  It documents the whole hellscape of formal hostility to  whites without falling into the victim identity trap”
—Pastor Doug Wilson, theologian and author

“We might as well have a real conversation about what is happening in America.  Find it in
The Unprotected Class
—Will Cain, Fox News, The Will Cain Show

"An amazing book . . . if you want to understand what's going on, go get yourself a copy of this book"
— Jack Posobiec, bestselling author and media figure

“A landmark work”
Western Journal

“A book that is so needed at this time”
—Sara Gonzales, Blaze Media

“I cannot highly recommend this book highly enough”
—Liz Wheeler, best-selling author and host, the Liz Wheler Show

“A crucially important new book—A must read. . .  Carl painstakingly documents that
anti-whiteness has manifested itself throughout America’s culture.”
Washington Examiner

“The Unprotected Class is wry, fun to read, smart, and absolutely essential. It should be required
reading in high school sociology classes and in every college in America”
—Peachy Keenan, The Federalist

Important because it is one of the first works devoted to a central problem of the 21st century.”
Steve Sailer, author and social critic

“Makes one of the most obvious but least discussed points of our era: there exists far more bigotry
against whites, and less bigotry against population minorities (although some certainly remains)
than is generally recognized in polite conversation.. .  well worth the read.
 —
Prof.Wilfred Reilly, Kentucky State University, Law and Liberty

“A bold and brave book with a clear thesis that will change the elite conversation by collecting
and arraying damning evidence in an unflinching manner.”
— Prof. Eric Kauffman, University of Buckingham

“A potent antidote to the powerful but false narrative of race in America. . .
It offers a calm, reasoned, fact-filled explanation of why the received narrative on race is wrong,
but also why demonizing the white majority is a foolish, even dangerous, idea in a
multicultural society.”
The European Conservative

The Unprotected Class has been embraced by many opinion leaders on the right, and it’s not hard
to see why. . .Carl deserves our gratitude for honestly confronting this troubling dimension of
contemporary life and for documenting its existence beyond any reasonable doubt.”
National Review

“The powerful message of this book will resonate with all who are concerned with justice and
 peaceful co-existence.”
—Wanjiru Njoya, scholar-in-residence, Ludwig von Mises Institute,
and former lecturer, Oxford University and the London School of
Economics

“Young Americans will suffer the dire consequences of the racial spoils
system poisoning American institutions. This book is the best attempt yet
to shake Americans awake ahead of the coming competency crisis.”
—Saurabh Sharma, President, American Moment

“Finally, a book that has the courage to call wokeness what it is: anti-white.
The Unprotected Class should allow well-intentioned readers of all races to see how widespread and
unjust anti-white discrimination is in contemporary America.”
—Prof. David Azerrad, Hillsdale College

“It is not a comfortable book to read, but it is important. . . Carl is fundamentally arguing for steps
toward renewed national unity.”
The American Conservative
