Compact by Design is a new sustainability certification created by Amazon to identify products that, while they may not always look very different, have a more efficient design. With the removal of excess air and water, products require less packaging and become more efficient to ship. At scale, these small differences in product size and weight lead to significant carbon emission reductions.
USDA Organic
products are grown and processed according to standards addressing soil and water quality, among other factors.
USDA Organic products must be produced using farming practices that maintain and improve soil and water quality, minimize the use of synthetic materials, conserve biodiversity, and avoid genetic engineering, among other factors. Crops can be certified organic if they’re grown without prohibited substances such as most synthetic fertilizers and pesticides for three years prior to harvest. Products that contain a minimum of 95 percent organic ingredients and use the USDA Organic seal are part of Climate Pledge Friendly.

City Roast develops a structured cup with a vibrant citrus impression with dark berry and cherry top-notes. Unlike the classic Supremo, this Nariño Supremo displays a bold citrus acidity balanced with a bittersweet Baker's chocolate body. Hints of toffee linger in the finish.
A range of roasts (Medium, Dark & Espresso) work well on this coffee. Each roast profile develops beautiful variations of a chocolate body that pairs well with this coffee's vibrant fruit top-notes.

Our organic Colombian coffee is farmed on the Munoz Estate in Nariño, a small village nestled between the Amazon Basin and the Andes Mountains. This high altitude region rich in volcanic soil is know to produce "The Queen of Colombian coffees".
