Doctor Geoffrey Whelan was in Japan when the tsunami hit, killing his cousin and grandmother. Buckle up and hang on for a great romantic suspense ride. Camy Tang is great at creating likable characters full of strengths and weaknesses, wonderful settings, and great story lines. This one captures your attention from start to finish. Full of twists and turns the action is non-stop.

I particularly liked the two main characters, Maylin and Geoffrey as they were both coming from pasts that had left them wounded and pulling away from God. The romantic tension and attraction between them leads to both of them finding their way back to God, developing their strengths and solving the mystery. Well rounded read that continues to add secondary characters from the previous books and pull them into the action as well.

Maylin lin,a quiet unassuming nurse who was in an verbally abusive relationship must learn to trust Geoffrey, a guilt ridden doctor who survived a tsunami in when he was living in Japan. Now that he is stateside, there is someone that is trying to kill him and Maylin . Their trust in each other and God will be put to the test as they search and try to find out who wants them dead. Fast paced, suspenseful and well written. It was a joy to read a story that was well edited.

Anyone that enjoys a mystery that keeps you on the edge of the seat from the first pages will enjoy this one. It is a wonderful combination of mystery, action and suspense that takes twists and turns that certainly keep you reading. This is the first book I have read by this author, but I certainly look forward to reading others by her. It is also a good romance and a story that tells of God's love, forgiveness and protection. I was furnished a copy of this book in return for a honest review.

This was strong, quick and made me want to read it right away. Some books I plod through. The action started almost right away, not enough build up IMO. Then it just dropped off the last few pages. I wanted more story line but then I have not read the previous books in this series so all of this was new to me.
I liked the Christian references but they were a bit vague and not deeply handled. The references to past troubles was not delved into but yet resolving at the end, again handled in a shallow way.
