The only thing missing from this set that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the Chupacobris Story.I wish it would have been included but this is still a highley recommended set by me.
Disk 1- Elvis' Last Night- The mystery and story of Elvis Presley's last night. How did Elvis really die? Unsolved Mysteries talks to Elvis's friends and stepbrother.
Brandon Lee- The son of Bruce Lee died in a shooting accident on the set of a movie. Was Brandon a victim of the Lee family curse, or was it just bad luck?
Eliot Ness- Eliot Ness investigated a series of gruesome murders in Cleveland from 1935-1938. 12 Mutilated bodies of transients and prostitutes and no suspects were found. This is the only case Ness never solved.
Holy Grail- There exists in present day England a chalice known as the Nanteos Cup that some believe is the true holy grail, the cup from which Jesus drank at the last supper.
Amelia Earhart- story of the disapearance of the famed aviator and Unsolved Mysteries examines several theories on what happened to her.
Alcatraz- tells the story of three Alcatraz prisoners that escaped from The Rock and were never seen again. Also Robert Stack tours the famous prison and profiles some of its most notorious inmates. Very Interesting.
Disk 2- Noah's Ark- Recently two research expeditions combed the mountains of Ararat in Turkey and both believe they have located the remenents of Noah's Ark.
Martin Luther King- Did James Earl Ray really kill Martin Luther King? This story contains allegations of conspiracy and raises questions of a cover-up by government investigators.
Bigfoot II- adventurer and explorer Peter Byrne leads an expedition into the Oregon backwoods to prove whether or not this fabled creature exists. Infared cameras on helicopters search for and find tantalizing evidence.Read more ›
Some stories, while better than others, will keep you entertained completely. You'll learn about the possible curse of Karate Legend Bruce Lee and son Brendon, The Search for the Holy Grail (the cup that Jesus drank at the Last Supper. The incredible search for Big Foot in the southwest, the legend of Billy The Kidd, was he shot and killed or did he live to be an old man? You'll go back in time to Elvis' last day and learn how some believe he committed suicide. The incredible and historic story of John Wilkes Booth is also included, there could be proof that he escaped after assasinating President Lincoln and lived until the early 1900's! The crazy story of a living Moth Man that plagues a small town in Virgina leaving everyone wondering what they saw. This and tons more as you explore this mongo DVD collection.
As always, Robert Stack thrives as the narrator of the series and will be sorely missed. Keep the legend alive of Unsolved Mysteries and make sure you get every box set for some of the greatest documentarires ever put together. The 4 discs also include commentaries by producers/directors/creators on select segments during your stay. Enjoy!
