Unspeakable picks up years after Unacceptable and Raine is all grown up. I enjoyed how strong, feisty, and incredibly stubborn she was, an obvious reflection of her parents. Her fire made me grin and I found myself thoroughly enjoying the grief she gave her parents. I adored getting to see Crickett and Abel well into their happily ever after and settled into their life with the Unacceptables MC. Determined to keep Raine from falling for an Unacceptables brother, Abel finds himself helpless to stop the developing relationship between Ryder and Raine, especially when they have such a solid friendship to build on. I’ll admit that the forbidden nature of their relationship gave them that extra spark and even their failed attempts at sneaking around were amusing. The less than warm and fuzzy feelings between Abel and Ryder added a tension to the story that definitely kept me intrigued. Unspeakable delved deeper into the inner workings of the MC, exposing some of the less than pleasant tasks and highlighting the more dangerous risks required of the brothers. I loved this aspect of the story - getting into the raw and gritty side of MC life and adding another dimension to Unspeakable.

While I liked both Raine and Ryder and enjoyed diving into their already established relationship, I definitely would have liked to explore these characters a bit more. I was curious as to how their friendship had grown over the years and what the tipping point was that had them seeing each other in a new light, especially considering Ryder’s role as a prospect and Abel’s rule that Raine was off limits. I wanted to understand what made them decide that the risk was worth it and see some growth from the characters. I did find myself falling in love with Ryder as I read.

The Best Parts:
I LOVED Ryder. I think his character has been the best in the series. The love that radiates from his is sincere and not dominating, but yet he still is able to show control. The relationship between him and Raine is a rollercoaster of one. The timelines move a little fast for me because we get to see them smack dab in the middle of their love and not the beginning of it like we did with Abel and Cricket.

The Worst Parts:
I did not like seeing some of the club’s stuff. I know it was for us to be able to understand what both parties were going through, but it just made me feel on edge more than I liked. As well I felt I got to know more about Ryder than I did Raine. Her personality became one that I did not admire especially when she went against Ryder’s decision towards the end of the book. I know the MC life wasn’t what she asked for, but damn she should know better than that. She was raised better than that.

And then seeing Ryder do all those things didn’t seem like his personality either. Yes to protect Raine and her family, but my god the things he did for the club, granted they are family too, I just didn’t see him doing those. Abel yes, Ryder no. That may be because we don’t get to read him getting into the club so we don’t understand what his reasonings behind joining are, but he just seems too good.

Final Thoughts:
I didn’t like this one as much as the first book, but I still love Ryder more than anyone. He is the type of man that every girl goes looking for but can never find. There is a third book to this series coming out this year too and I’m super excited to see where these characters go!

If you want just a hearts and flowers MC romance you are looking in the wrong place, but this book is freaking awesome!!

Unspeakable takes you on a wild ride. You will experience sexy moment, suspense and some blood and gore. The forbidden love aspect keeps it thrilling, are they going to be found out? Will her dad accept his daughter living a MC life? Will she prove herself strong enough? Will Ryder gain his acceptance?

Trust me you need to read this book, and the previous book Unacceptable too. Before you freak they can be read as standalones but you want to get to know Able...trust me!

Being that I read the first book, I had been wanting to read this one as well. In Unacceptable we started with Cricket stopping at a bar looking for her father. Like that book we start off the same way. Ryder stopping at a bar for a drink not realizing his father is already there.

Ryder finally left his horrible excuse for a mother and went looking for his father. Holt is the Acceptables MC right hand man. Now, Ryder is a prospect for the MC. Holt and Able have taken him under their wings and teaching him everything he needs to know. Ryder is keeping a huge secret from his president. Ryder is madly in love with Able's daughter, Raine. Ryder doesn't want to keep it a secret, but Raine has asked him to for now.

Raine is the sunshine in her father's life. Able wants his kids to have a better life then his MC life. She's going to college and working at the MC bar. Raine loves Ryder. But, knows her dad will not let her date him or any guy in the MC. Raine must find a way to get her father to understand and let them be together.

I loved Ryder. Even though he was still a prospect he was sharp and on his toes. He makes a vow to himself to prove himself to Able that he's good for Raine. Even if he has to take off his cut and walk away from the MC.

Raine is a strong young woman. She's grown up an MC lady. Now, she wants what she wants. And, that's Ryder. Luckily for her, her stepmother Cricket gets her. It was nice to see her with both Able and Cricket. Raine is still young and with a father like hers, she's trying to do what she wants and not be told what to do all the time. I don't blame her. But, it def can cost her.

I finished this book in one afternoon. Like the first book I wish it was a full length book. But, for a novella type book it was packed. For me with most novellas it felt rushed. Other then that I really liked it.
