Can the fae daughter of a Seelie Princess and the Unseelie King be his salvation or is he to broken..to far gone... a dead man walking.
This is a powerful dark page turner that has you racing toward the finish to see what happens and when you get there you are sad to have it end.
You are so caught up in the story that you want it to go on and on and on.
I really enjoyed this book. Hart is haunted by his past so much that he can't see what is in front of him. He didn't have it easy growing up and I felt so much for him. Ondine has also been through a tough time and is still tending some wounds from her childhood. These two have so much in common and they are totally unaware. I would love to learn more about Hart's past and the Mistress as well. Vile wench that she is. It does start out a bit slow/slightly confusing...but once you get a little further into the story it makes more sense.
Hart has to kill the Creator! And it's mission in life to kill her! He had been captive most of his life until he escaped. Now he has a intended mate that he does not want because he is no good for anyone. He is cruel and kills with that cruelty! And does not even feel bad when he does,he loves to cause pain. But he never counted on Ondine who is half Seelie princess and half Un-Seelie princess. And she is his mate. But he will never alow himself to love her or claim her because even her love cannot stop him from causing her hurt. But he can wish ! But now he has another reason to kill the Mistress ,for killing her will set Ondine free.
