One very impressive feat that is handily accomplished in Unveiling the Apocalypse is the comparison of texts from the Apocalypse of St. John, to the other books of the New Testament, to the prophets of the Old Testament, to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and some elements of more modern private revelation. O’Reagan finds small details in the New Testament that are supported by equally small details in the Old Testament; not only does he do this, but he does it over and over again. It is truly amazing just how rich the text of the Apocalypse becomes when you see the depth of Scripture compared point-by-point.
Another element of O’Reagan’s work that I appreciate is his taking points back to the original languages. A little Greek can yield a marvelous depth and richness that is oftentimes lost in translation to English. O’Reagan opens up both Greek and Hebrew where needed to support his thesis, and the results are impressive.
Are there things in this book that many readers will find questionable? Yes. There are things in this book that I question. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that there are two or three things in this book that most people would likely find difficult to accept on first reading. But a more important question might be: do these things detract from the details offered, the overall narrative, and the interpretations offered by the author? The answer to this is a resounding: No.
No one book on the Apocalypse will satisfy every reader, and this book is no different. It is a massive and complex book, that deserves to be read with a great deal of care and consideration of all that is offered. In the end, if you read it through and look at the supporting documentation, it makes sense – and it makes sense even if you don’t agree with every interpretation offered.
I highly recommend it for anyone interested in eschatology or the interpretation of the Apocalypse of St. John.
Now, Mr. Emmett O'Regan and Mark Kyriakos wouldn't the "Two Witnesses" obviously be The Apostles Saint Peter and Saint Paul who are murdered by the antichrist, as a man, Nero Caeser under the influence of the false prophet, the sorcerer Simon Magus?
You must have learned that in High School Catechism.
Now, the Pope says where in the "Book of Revelation" or "Revealing" which means that we've been in the Book Of Revelation, or "Thousand Year Reign" which is just an Old Greek Phrase for the "Long or Indefinate Time between the 1st and 2nd Coming of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, when Saint John the Apostle summarizes everything layered in from The Book of Revelation, Chapter 4-19, into his closing 3 Chapter Summation of the Book of Revelation, Chapter 20-22 about the chaining of satan into hell with Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ over 2,000 years ago.
So, Only after the "Fullness of the Gentiles and then the Jews" being brought into the Catholic Church and "Cosmic Disturbances" have we reached the 2nd Coming of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the End of Time.
Ofcourse, a Secret known only to God The Father Almighty.
Right now, we're about to experience the middle part of the "3rd Secret of Fatima" which may be the "Great Chastisment" or a Series of Miracles and Punishments or the "Great Chastisement from God The Father Almighty againt a "woefully sinful Humanity".
Almost All of Those that survive will convert to or back to the Holy Catholic Church called the "Fullness of the Gentiles and then the Jews.
Also, All writers of Catholic Prophecy, starting now, on the 100th Anniversary of Fatima, get An "Imprimatur" and "Nihil Obstat"' like Mark Kyriakos Book "As We Await the Blessed Hope".
So, they don't get into "speculative Catholic prophecy".
Now, once again, You must begin to ponder that Final Secret, the "End Time Daniel" spoken of in the Book Of Daniel Chapter 12 who God commands "Go, take your rest, you shall rise for your reward at the end of days." This Old Testament Daniel went to His Reward at the Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the 1st Easter when All the Good People of The Old Testament are released from Purgatory or "Limbo" but the "End Time Daniel" keeps Secret and Sealed the "Book of Life." It's implicit and intrinsic to the Book of Daniel Chapter 12 that the Holy Father, Pope Francis, and His Successors, will absolutely never reveal who the "End Time Daniel" is.
Sincerely, Daniel P. Kneeland, Grafton, Ma.
