I bought these to replace an older pair that finally gave up the ghost. These are more similar to the second pair I bought (larger size & hard plastic tube; first/replaced were smaller & had a semi soft plastic handle/grip). I like these as the handle is larger than the replaced grips. This allows for 2 handed gripping in the overlapping positions. I think those with larger hands may be able to do this as well. This is great for core twists. I have been using these for 3 months now & they seem to be holding up. I use them w/bands in a combination up to 42lbs (23lb+19lb bands). I am using these in my home gym & for bands only. I am not using them for commercial use nor on any type of pulley weight systems. They look & feel sturdy enough where I think they should be able to hold up to almost daily use for couple years. If they fail before then, I’ll be sure to update this review.
Based on the first 3 months of use, I would have to say I would recommend these grips.
