With a full charge on it, the heli does ok, a bit sluggish, but after about 2 min it just dies. I bought two of these batts and they're both the same. Ugh. Waste of money.
My feeling is that the S107, as good as it is, just doesn't have enough motor power to lift any more weight than the stock set-up. The stock batt is I believe a 150mAh, you might go to a 160 or 170 at most. I have actually been thinking of buying a Blade mCX for the 4-channel ability, and may just switch my S107 over to that battery because it's about the same size. Put a female battery connector on the copter so I can swap out batteries quickly, just rubber band the battery under the Syma cockpit rather than inside the cowl.
The Syma is a great little beginner copter, but especially the non-swappable battery situation is a big bummer. You should wait about 15 minutes for the battery to cool (ask me how I killed the original battery). So that means a little bit of flying and a whole lot of waiting.
But this batt is not the solution.
