Even after 10 days of use, the water flow is sputtering at times and completely blocked at other times. I bought another filter (different manufacturer, Purneat) and the problem went away.

Fantastic piece of kit as it saves pouring scalding jam down the side of your jam jars and then trying to get it off. I also use mine for putting soups or gravy into Pour N Store bags so that it keeps the sides of the bags clean. Easy to clean and hygienic.

This leaked over the course of 4 days and multiple attempts to re-seat the filter in the Whirlpool filter cartridge holder. I put the old one back in and no leaks. Either bad o-rings or dimensional issue with the the water connection molding at least with Whirlpool fridges.

This is exactly what I wanted. An added bonus is the mouth can be adjusted to two sizes. Have used it to fill jars and bottles of various sizes with wet and dry ingredients, such as jams and grains. A little expensive, but worth the price.

A detachable extra ""spout"" gives the jam funnel the option of two sizes - excellent for different sized jars or bottles.
