I am a fan of 'classic Urban Decay' - before neutrals and nudes became the norm. The very dark shades do not suit me - they may be good for the young, but 'senior smoky' leaves something to be desired. I was delighted to find some of my favourite shades, particularly Grifter (which turns my green eyes to emerald) in this delightful palette. I use this palette as multiple, blended eye-shadows, and as my liner as well. It is a it pricey, and the amount of each shadow is small, but it is a treasure.
This is for my daughter's birthday as she loves Urban Decay makeup. Her last one was stolen. So she's protective as she loves the colors and how easy it is to use. She's 25 and been using UD for years.
Urban Decay rarely disappoints me with any of their products. They product high quality, high pigmentation, and good looking items! I always love the packaging because the colors and images are on point with the makeup inside. There are a couple of colors that are darker than I prefer that I may not use, but the entire bottom row is spot on and I love them. I love that Urban Decay always includes a brush with their palettes because it's very convenient and means I don't have to purchase something separately or try to find one of my existing brushes to use it. It also comes with a primer potion which is great for two reasons. One of them being that I hadn't tried it before, but always wanted to. I just hadn't bitten the bullet to buy it. This is a great marketing tactic, but I'm not bothered by it. I just see it as an added value and makes me like UD even more.
