Created by J.B. Berns--a practicing martial artist for more than 20 years--the urban rebounding workout has its lineage in martial arts and core abdominal postures, resulting in a nonstop abdominal workout that melts away the fat and inches, strengthens your core, and improves your balance and coordination like no other exercise. Now, with the Urban Rebounder folding trampoline workout system, you can perform the urban rebounding workout in the comfort of your own home in just 20 minutes a day, three times per week. Not only is it the first exercise you'll actually look forward to, but it brings the fun without causing pain or stress on your joints. That makes it especially ideal for athletes, seniors, and anyone else who wants a low-impact, high-efficiency workout.
The Urban Rebounding system comes with a commercial-quality mini trampoline, a stabilizing bar for particularly vigorous exercises, and six motivational workouts on DVD. And users can rest assured that the workout is effective, as it's the same routine that's used in nearly 5,000 health clubs worldwide, including Bally's, Crunch, Equinox, Gold's, and the YMCA, to name a few. The Urban Rebounding system--which offers a weight capacity of 300 pounds and folds up for easy storage--carries a one-year warranty.

UPDATE 12/8/16: Urban Rebounder sent me a replacement. NOW SPRINGS KEEP BREAKING on my new replacement - 2 so far. They will only send me new springs that I have to install myself. This thing is a piece of junk and should be recalled. It is very dangerous when the springs break and pieces of metal spring go shooting across the room.
Next... the quality. Seems very sturdy, I'm pushing 255 lbs on a good day and it supports me very well. It does have the heavy duty diamond shaped springs (springs go from thinner coils at the ends to thick in the center) instead of just straight coils. No, it's not very bouncy, but then again it's not really made to bounce you in the air. This is a misconception that many people have when they first get into rebounding. You are not trying to get crazy air on this thing. The object of the game is to use your core to stabilize yourself, and push down into the rebounder for resistance, not freely bounce up into the air.
I think many of the quality issues can be resolved with a little attention to detail though. We've owned several rebounders, including some of the incredibly cheap ones, and I noticed that just a little bit of attention during assembly--or unfolding in the case of the Urban Rebounder-- can really go a long way to extending the life of these products. One thing to remember is that when you fold the rebounder the tension will be released from the springs. This will allow some of the parts to shift out of position, particularly the springs and the mat strap hooks. As you unfold the rebounder for use, make sure you are shifting things back to the positions where they need to be. This will prevent unnecessary stress from being applied to the frame and mat in places where it isn't meant to be applied. The same problem can be found in the cheaper rebounders as you stretch the springs during assembly. Things will shift as the tension is applied, and suddenly you have a spring strap hook poking through the mat canvas instead of safely hooked on the mat straps which will lead to a premature tear.
Finally, the DVD's....Awesome. It actually came with 2 DVD's. A basic rebounding DVD with several workouts for cardio, core, sport specific, and a few others I can't remember. The second DVD provides another complete set of workouts for the rebounder in its elevated configuration.
All in all, I think it's great for the price. It's not a Needak, and costs about $300 less than one, so you can't expect that type of quality, but it is pretty darn great for the price. It is what is called a quarter fold rebounder, so when you store it it folds, then folds again into about a 15" x 6" football shape. Very easy to tuck away.
I only went 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lack of a storage bag that could have very easily been included without any significant price increase. There are extra legs and angled rubber feet that are needed to elevate the rebounder which need to be stored somewhere they won't be lost or tossed or forgotten about. A storage bag where everything could be kept together would have eliminated this problem. In addition, I'm not 100% sold on the leg attachment design which is basically a slip fit over plastic nubs. During basic rebounding I think this will be OK. I have a feeling though that once I advance a bit and try to apply my weight to this in the elevated/ angled position that this may prove to be a weak point.
