In the liberty movement, we have a lot of good non-fiction works that have been produced over the years. Unfortunately for our movement, it is the works of fiction (books, movies, TV, etc.) which tend to have the greatest impact. So it is great to see that Bretigne Shaffer has produced this graphic novel to help bring the ideas of liberty to a broader audience.
The story centers around a woman who becomes a superhero who cannot use violence. What an inspired idea. We are so accustomed to superheroes using violence that it must strongly condition people to believe that this is the way to solve problems in the real world. But is that really the case? Maybe not and Shaffer deals with these issues with honesty, intelligence, and humor, in a story filled with colorful characters, villains, and evil plots. I will not go into the specifics here, but would encourage people to read this book for themselves.
