Urusei Yatsura is a cultural treasure and you can see its fingerprints on just about all Japanese media that was to come. This set has loads of episodes and the picture and sound quality is just fantastic for a show from 1981. I had not watched the series since I was a teen but it is just as wacky and enjoyable as I remember it being, and I'm glad I can experience it again in such a lovingly restored format.

Finally An Easy Way To Watch Urusei Yatsura!
This is a must have for any anime fan or a fan of the series. This show never got a English dub so a lot of people don't even know about the series. But like they say all the good stuff is left in Japan and this series is an instant classic! So much humor and good story telling and music. Earlier back this series was release on DVD but about 4 episodes were on the disc and were expensive and hard to collect. Now since there out of print they go for high prices and you get little episodes to watch and it even hard to get the series completed. Some DVD's are more expensive then the others. This is the best way to experience the series without paying too much. The picture quality of the episodes are good but I'm a little disappoint there not in 16.9 like the menu is. But then again I'm happy we even got a Blu-Ray of this. You will not be disappoint with your purchase
