I like most everything about this game. It features the classic 80's G.I. Joe and COBRA figures, mainly the ones featured in the 1985 season of the cartoon, before Serpentor. It has great playing pieces, you get dog tags, a cobra, Cobra Commander's helmet, the U.S.S. Flag, Timber the dog, and a G.I. Joe vehicle. There are some great, well-thought-out special rules you can employ. Some special editions of Monopoly do not have special rules or they are not good variations. My only complaint, and why I cannot give it 5 stars, is that the earlier special edition Monopolies also came with special houses and hotels and further board features. For example, in this game, the properties you can buy are all from G.I. Joe toys and the cartoon show, but the jail is just the same jail as in regular Monopoly. In the Mayberry-opoly version, the jail has Barney Fife pictured on it. You'd think for this version they would have had the brig, or federal detention facility. Free Parking is also just Free Parking. You'd think it might be called 3-day pass or something interesting like that. The other, bigger, complaint, is that they make houses and hotels for this game, just like regular Monopoly. What!? In The Wizard of Oz Monopoly we get green emerald cities and farmhouses. In Mayberry-opoly we get fishes and bait houses. They make regular houses and hotels but they CALL the houses HOWITZERS and the hotels DEFENSE CENTERS. We started calling the houses outposts and the Hotels headquarters. Better yet, I found some miniature army guys to start using in place of the houses, and miniature army vehicles to use instead of hotels. We use both sets of pieces now. I love the game and G.I. Joe so much I even made some further custom items for this game, just having fun and being creative. Despite these neglections, we still enjoy the game.

Well, it's Monopoly, but with yoru favorite 80's G.I. Joe motif. Brings back so much memories. Just wish it wasn't as expensive...but it is for the customer who would appreciate it and they're not many of us nowadays I'm sure.

I ordered this for a platoon of U.S. Army soldiers while deployed in Afghanistan and they loved it! We send Care Packages to our U.S. Military and we included this as one of their Christmas gifts.

Anyone who loves to play Monopoly will enjoy this game. As in other Monopoly games, the GI Joe board game is done really well. Monopoly keeps high standards for their games.

Awesome theme. Great components. Has a flare to it. And also added variations, of game play, due to the theme. Wonderful marker tokens.
