Product Description

Description:
Turn it on, so it can turn itself off.
Ok, so it's a black box, sort of shiny, with a switch on top. But what does the switch do? Does it launch a nuclear attack? Does it terminate someone you don't know somewhere in the world? Does it make bacon magically appear? You stare at it over and over, hour after hour, until you can't take it anymore. You turn it on. And out of the box, a little finger pops out and turns the unit back off. That's all it does, and the smile on your face is proof it works. Presenting, the Useless Box Kit.
You'll have your own gleaming acrylic box. Set it on your desk and wait for curiosity to cause victim after victim to turn it on - each to be met with the little finger turning the box back off. The Useless Box Kit - the silliest science kit we've ever fallen in love with.

5.0 out of 5 stars I use to somewhat like China, not anymore.
By Quin LeGris on January 11, 2016
Product came unassembled, I said to myself, "Well part of the fun has to be building it yourself." I was dead wrong. No instructions were present and the single piece of paper that came along had a badly translated faq on it with a web address linking to where you can find them online, only the website didn't actually exist. After around an hour of tinkering I had mostly figured it out, only 'one' problem though, one if the the wires leading from the battery pack to the engine was not connected, an issue that took some time and electrical tape to fix. Then came the issues with the battery pack itself, again with no instructions to guide me, I attached it using one of the miniscule screws to the hole on the front piece of acrylic, and finished assembling the rest of the box. I flipped the switch and behold it worked, only it made a horrid grinding noise. After some investigating it became apparent that the engine was grinding through one of the batteries. I became aroused by my anger. After nearly an hour of repeating, "They couldn't be this damn stupid with the design." I noticed yet another hole on the side, hidden behind the stickers which covered every piece, (Which by the way would take well over an hour to remove fully from each piece of acrylic), after nearly disassembling the entire box, moving the battery pack to the new hole, and reassembling the entire box, it actually began to work properly. I wept. I was finally finished.

Tldr; 10/10, Both myself and the box have a raging cigarette addiction.
