I love these flour sack towels. They are super handy around the house for all sorts of tasks. They are *not* thick like terrycloth towels and they're not supposed to be. The thinness allows them to be lint-free and dry quickly.

I prefer them for hand towels in the bathroom and kitchen because they dry rapidly which helps to inhibit the growth of germs. I use them as cheesecloth for tasks like squeezing the water out of freshly grated and rinsed hashbrowns or rinsed rice. I use them to clean televisions, mirrors and windows - because they are lint free. Any task you might use a paper towel for can be replaced by a flour sack towel and keep more virgin forest paper out of landfills and incinerators. My favorite use is to use them to dry my hands with before I put my contacts in so that I never get any terrycloth fuzz in my eyeball.

Awesome product at an excellent value. Highly recommended!

I purchased these towels for projects I am doing on my home embroidery machine. The designs sewed on very nicely and the towels work very well in the kitchen. I was a bit concerened because they are not 100% cotten but a cotton blend. They dry dishes wounderfully and dont wirnkle as bad as 100% cotton ones do. I did not have to iron them before placing my embrodidery designs on them. They work great in the kitchen. Would buy again.

If you're looking for towels to embroider, get these! It's a better value AND quality than the packs of 7 they sell at the craft store. They were a little bigger than I imagined them, but that worked out perfectly. I am embroidering them as decorative towels for the kitchen. If you fold them in half and center your design on the bottom half, it works out perfectly for folding neatly and hanging in front of the oven. You even have room to cut them in half and make napkins out of them or to frame your design. Love, love, love them! I ordered two sets, and I'll definitely be ordering more for future projects. Once I am finished with a few of the towels, I will try to remember to post pictures!

I bought these towels to embroider. The weave is nice and they wash great-- don't shrink too much and keep their shape well. They are not super thick and absorbent, so if you are wanting something like that, these are not the towels for you. They are perfect for what I needed, so I give them a thumbs up.

We love these towels for washing dishes. No lint and cheap enough to just throw away after they get too stained as flour sack towels usually do. They are a bit thinner and lighter, a handkerchief consistency, which I think is preferable.

The flour sack dishtowels were absorbent and made good bar cloths as well. I use them for clean-ups instead of paper towels. Because they are while and cotton, I am able to bleach them when I wash them. The flour sack towels are actually more absorbent than the micro-fiber towels popular right now. They do require washing before using, but I do that anyway with most towels of any kind that I purchase. Overall, I am happy with this product and will continue to use it.

I thought this would replace the Ritz towels previously available at Bed, Bath & Beyond, but they are not at all absorbent. I next ordered the commercial grade 28" X 29" by Nouvelle Legende from Amazon. The Nouvelle Legende towels are much better.

Well I hate to be a big Biddy on this item but these are not exactly flour sack material so if your looking for this to be true flour sack cloth towels you wont like how these feel or the texture they are more like 200 thread count sheets cut into 20X33 finished cloth rags, also they are NOT the finished size as the description says 22X35 they are only 20X33 but here is the rub..they are so lopsided and uneven I will have to chop 2 to 4 inches off most of them to square them up so plan on much smaller towels (photos of what I encountered are included) these also have pink stripes of something on a few of them not sure what it is?? and minor flaws on a few ..I highly recommend you wash these and dry lightly before you embroider on them they WILL shrink alot & washing them seem to soften the texture a bit..! the only thing I can say is if your looking for a towel to practice on these work great an do look nice when done, Heirloom Quality..?? NOPE! Absorbent a big NOPE.! lint free YUP! Price.. ok!
