first off i dident buy them for welding. i was looking for a dark pair of sun glasses. these work very well, and are larger than most other glasses. if you have a large face where normal sunglasses look like kids glasses these might be a good choice. i did remove the sweat band and the nose bridge piece, made them stand off my face too far. would have been 4 stars if i dident need to make that modification

I bought these for use at my job torch cutting, plasma cutting, and running our CNC plasma table. They're very nice compared to others I've used. What's really nice its all of the adjustments you can make to get them to fit your head just right. Good for all day use if you're cutting alot of material.

Amazing!! Bright Green lense, I'm talk'n see the world in Money green kinda style haha.. Completley scratch resistant? I work on a drilling rig and I had been going thru safety glasses like crazy! I stubled apon these on Amazon and boy am i glad i did!! I use them everyday, work or at home, in the pool or on the rig! I have to clean dust, mud, metal flakes from grinding, water spots off them every day and have yet to scratch them. When they need to be retired I'll most deffi be ordering another pair!!

I retired my old goggles for these after I purchased a pair of Uvex safety glasses and a face shield. All of them are outstanding. Zero fog, very scratch resistant, and fit a large head. These have a lot of adjustment available for fit. There is a small gap at the bottom though, but I don't mind that and it doesn't effect my vision (i.e. too much light from the torch). I've used these when heating, brazing, and cutting with oxy-acetylene, propylene, mapp, and plasma (when I'm backed off the cut and not using a #2). I prefer these over a shaded face shield.

I love these safety glasses! I got them for oxygen- acetylene welding, and they do the trick very nicely. I was looking for something to replace my welding goggles, and I must say that I was worried at first about whether the shade on these would be dark enough because of the reviews I read that said not to use them for welding( I wonder if they were just talking about arc welding, which you need a shade 10 for, but they work perfectly for oxy-acetylene torch welding). But, to my surprise, they actually filtered the light better and I could see what I was doing better than with my shade 5 goggles. I also heard and read reviews that the nose piece and forehead piece made the glasses sit too far away from the face. I did find this true until two seconds later when I realized you can adjust the frame to compensate and fit your face. The ear pieces are adjustable to make the lens slant more upward or downward. I just pointed them downward and they fit against my face just like any other pair of glasses. The forehead piece really does help wick away sweat, and the nosepiece helps keep the glasses from sliding down your face. They seem durable enough. I'm sure I'll be using these for my welding projects for years to come.
