I absolutely love these ties. I use it for all my wires both at home and work and it makes my desks look so much more organized. They come connected in rolls, but it's really easy to separate one by pulling it off. On one end there's a wider section with a small removable part and you can use that to secure the wrap around your wire. After bunching up your wire it's really easy to just wrap the velcro around and secure it.

I bought the 100 count bag which came with 4 rolls of ties. One gripe I have about the rolls is that it's not cut very precisely. At the start of the roll the tie was half the size it should be. It's not a big deal though, the rolls provide a lot of ties anyway and it's probably more than I need; I haven't even finished using 1 roll.

The ties are pretty long though, and can look pretty bulky if your wires are thin. Not a con, but something to keep in mind. I still love this product though, and would highly recommend it.

This package contains 4 rolls of Velcro ties. What makes them different from velcro that you can buy at any sewing store (for less money) is the shape they are cut into. I am attaching a photo which shows the shape that allows you thread one end into the other for tightening. Each ties is 1/4 inch wide and 7 1/2 inches long. However they are not separated in the roll, so you can detach two ties as a unit, making a whole unit 15 inches long (and so forth in units of 7 1/2 inches).

The benefit of Velcro ties over plastic ties is that they can be reused. They are easy to adjust in size by wrapping them a few extra times or loosening.

I found many uses for these ties. From obvious ones to somewhat creative:

- keeping my computer cords tidy and untangled
- attaching outdoor art to the black iron rod railing
- keeping wrapping paper from unrolling
- for bundling ski poles, garden sticks, and other long objects in the basement for storage
- keeping glasses attached the visor in the car
- keeping my phone inside a pouch without slipping out (yet either to remove when needed)
- securing a cargo net in the back of my car
- attaching a loop that holds the cable to recharge my tablet at table level while plugged in (otherwise it was on the floor when not in use)
- several loops that are attached to my textile loom, which holds shuttles and scissors when they are not use, but right there when I need them
- used as tarp fastener to keep the tarp over objects under my deck while construction on the deck was going on

Good stuff - I recommend!

I put these on everything. They are so easy to use and it really organizes cables well. Sometimes I would like to have larger ties, because these can only effectively hold about a 2 inch diameter of bundled cables. Some bundles are a little larger and you need to daisy chain two of these together to make it work. I know they sell the Velcro strips that you can cut to length, but it is usually twice the cost of these. Anyway, these hold really well and can organize all the cables you have and you can put them on cell phone chargers, behind the TV or use them anywhere you need to bind a small amount of material. They are so cheap and easy that I even use them on items I am donating. These do come with a channel cut in them so you can secure them to the cable and then wrap the excess around the bundle of cables. I have never used them this way, but I like the idea of being able to secure the strap to the phone charger that way when you are on travel you don't lose the tie in the hotel. I also used these to secure an umbrella to a stroller and that worked great. I put a few of these in my back pack next to the paracord cause you never know.

Who needs this many velcro straps? At least that's what I thought when I bought them. (What, they're a steal at this price and quantity!) At first I thought I'd just use them for cables here or there, and I did. But they turned out to be so handy for so many other things too. I keep a few in the car because you never know when you'll need something there. Currently they organize my car charger wire, GPS cable, hold my emergency multi-tool in place and organize my dog's 50 foot leash.

Around the house they manage cables, organize pens, pencils and markers in my craft bins, organize my washi tapes, keep my hair elastics organized (those things were always getting lost but since buying these velcro straps I haven't needed to replace elastics once) - I've even used them as safety straps between scissor handles so they can't pop open on accident. They've been used for holiday decor, not only organizing things as they get put away but also securing lights and garlands to my porch in an easy to remove, mess less way.

They're so multipurpose. You'll never run out of tasks for these tiny things to do.

Pros: Very inexpensive, easy to use, strong velcro stays in place
Cons: None

I don't know why it took me so long to buy these, but these are an absolute must for anyone who wants to organize the cables underneath their desk, TV console, or modem/router table. I was using plastic zipties to tie cables together, which for the most part worked fine, but is very hard to undo if you forget to include a cable. Also, because they're so snug and hard, there's a slight chance it might damage the cables after some time. These velcro ties are the perfect alternative and I have no reason to go back to zipties for cable management ever again. They're very easy to use - it comes in 4 rolls of 25 and you just rip them off a perforated edge to separate the individual ties. For a mere $0.05 a piece, these things are a bargain; they might even be cheaper than zipties. If you're serious about cable management, then get these.

These are also great for storing individual cables in loops.

I haven't used them for this yet, but I bet they will also work very well for cable management inside a computer case, provided that the case has loops for it. I'll use these for my next build and update this review.

Thin Self-Gripping Cable Ties: Reusable, Light Duty:

PRO:
+Price vs Performance. For the price these hold together extremely well and can wrap and unwrap (to add or remove additional cables) numerous times without noticeable degradation of velcro properties.
+Easy to use rolled up cable ties. Just be careful when tearing two strips apart along the perferated separation as the eyelet on one is the weak point.
+Excellent when need a lot an inexpensive cable management ties.
+Use these on numerous cable management projects from organizing Cisco switch (4500-E Series and the like), wrapping individual cables, to cable management at an end users workstation.
+They are marked as thin and are but I've had great use with these when connecting one through the eyelet of another. If done smartly they do hold more weight than one would expect from the thin feel. The eyelet for securing the initial loop is the weak point and not the velcro gripping power of the wraps.
+Hold together quite well.
+These are not one use as I've experienced in the past where when unwrapping the velcro wraps, layered separation occurs making other types unusable for reuse.

CON:
-When pulling hard, to get the initial wrap that holds in place on the cable wrap in place, I've broken the Velcro loop through hole. Have still been able to use the cable wrap by making an "X" with the velcro around the initial wrap. Can still be done but must be careful as these are a type of plastic but hold extremly well, even for multiple reuse.

Bottom line is if you use many velcro cable wraps and pay out-of-pocket for them this is an excellent choice for the Price vs Performance. Yes, there are higher quality feeling Velcro strips with loop eyelet holes and at a higher cost that I prefer to use but it all depends on the job I'm doing.

I love these cable tie/wrap/straps. I've gone through and unwrapped, clipped zip-ties, and otherwise redone all the cable storage and management in my main and home office.

I took over our office IT duties as a side project and inherited an unholy mess of cabling. 50' purchased cables for a 5ft run from a jack to a switch, to another... just hell. That being said, 50' cables aren't cheap and can be useful in future. The thought of zip-ties was gratifying, if only to dissuade people from installing these in the office again, but I knew I'd regret it as soon as I had to change something or reach for a cable, unable to find dykes.

Velcro to the rescue.

I can't believe I'm writing about a $5 pack of velcro cable wraps, but if you handle any volume of ethernet, patch, power cables, extension cords, RG6, these make life so much easier. They have a slot punched out on one side so you can wrap it through and attach the strap to the end of a cable. Unwrap the cable, us it, and the strap is still attached to the end when you go to wrap it up again.

I am super duper OCD so you can guess I hate looking at cords all tangled up in a ball. So much better than those ghetto twist ties.

The only problem w/ these is that this particular style is a lil long for smaller cords. It works great for thicker cords aka normal size cords but the lil cellphone charger cords, you've got to wrap this around a few times. The only downfall of that is, it takes a bit longer then if the velcros were shorter and you can't create a shortcut as easily. What I mean by shortcut is, you wrap so much of the cord up in one bunch then let some cord hang off & wrap the other bit of cord up with the left over velcro. That makes it so you don't have to undo the whole roll when plugging in.

All in all I would reccomend these but maybe give the different sizes consideration. What's really trippy though, is the first few on my roll were the smaller size so I tottally got teased! :(

Pros:
-Better than twist ties
-They last
-Trusted brand
-Strong hold

Cons:
-Could have been shorter
-Hole to thread through could have been bigger

You would think there's not much to say about Velcro wraps but THERE IS!

If you're like me, you probably have a crap-ton of cables hiding behind your desk. You have your gaming consoles, monitors/TVs, podcasting/composing equipment, etc. etc. It can get quite messy.

You can use twisty ties which, like pennies, can always be found somewhere if you look hard enough.. But those can cut into your cables and may attract unwarranted attention from wild cats or unicorns. You could use rubber bands but those can actually create a sticky mess, much like the theater you went to a few months ago (yeah, that one).

With this pack of, what? 100 wraps??! Yeah.. You're covered for life.. Well, maybe not that long but, really, this is a great value.

My only gripe is that these are perforated so you have to do some actual manual labor and pull them apart. My wimpy nerd arms can't handle that.. I just want to build computers and play games, darn it! No, seriously, not a big deal.. 5/5 would buy again!!!!
