I am constantly on a search for my perfect sunscreen. It needs to be spf 50 or better. It needs to be light weight. It needs to smell halfway decent or not have a scent that lingers at all. It also needs to not feel greasy. This sunscreen checks most of the boxes. This is a zinc oxide spf 50 sunscreen. It goes on smooth, slightly thick like a soft peaks type of consistency. It massages in easily and is clear when it soaks into the skin. It has a nice soft powdery feeling finish. It is not greasy. It has a floral scent, further investigation confirms this is tea tree scented. It's not super strong but you will smell it on your hands after applying. On the listing it claims to be waterproof, but in the fine print it suggests you need additional waterproof sunscreen if you go swimming. So I assume this is water resistant, but not enough for long exposure. This sunscreen is in third place currently for my favorite sunscreens. It works, I don't mind wearing it. But I can't apply anywhere near my eyes or it burns. It does leave a finish like a coating. It's not terrible, but it is there. You could wear this under make-up and not notice anything.

I've provided photos for context - this product goes on clear! I have a before and after photo of the lotion on my hand. Definitely not the white goopy nasty stuff that you typically get for vacation.

The second thing I want to point out about this product is that it is safe for reefs. If you don't want to kill the whales and dolphins, probably should use something like this.
I was a little annoyed by the packaging, but my wife went on to explain that a big problem with ordering products like this is that they'll leak. This thing was well packaged, absolutely no leaks. It would have been impossible with the way it was in the box.
Very gentle scent. Nothing overpowering. Feels cool, just like any other lotion. But it won't hurt our oceans.

The pump is very easy to use and it's quite balance - it is a gentle pressure but it pumps out just the right amount that I need. The lean bottle makes it easy to store in my backpack, bag, or in a side compartment in the car.
The sunscreen itself is very light and effective. It's gentle on the skin and does take a few rubs to get in, but afterwards I did not even feel it. I'm glad that it also looks natural and doesn't have the abrasiveness or residue that I'd sometimes get from other sunscreen products. This worked pretty well in the sun. I was under a lot of direct sunlight and the sunscreen stayed put and I didn't feel like the sun rays were getting deep into my skin.
So overall, very happy about this product.

I am very light-skinned, so daily sunscreen is a must. I’m always on the look out for high SPF sunscreen that doesn’t leave my face oily or greasy. This VGO sunscreen is among the best I’ve tried.
I like mineral sunscreens because I’ve read that they have longer lasting sun protection. The sunscreen goes on easily and a little goes a long way. It absorbs quickly and there is no white cast. I can easily apply this and then my makeup, without it feeling too heavy. I like how moisturizing it feels, as well.
And it works. I’m often out in the sun for an hour or two a day and my skin is protected. My only reservation is the price for the amount of sunscreen. But all in all, this is a quality sunscreen that works for me.
