This intervalometer isn't high grade, but if your dslr doesn't have time lapse functions, it does the job. I took this on a storm chase with me the second week I had it and being in a hurry to put my gear in the car as the storm was coming at us. The only thing I forgot to put back in the car was the Intervalometer. I left it on top of the car. We drove off before I realized I didn't have it. In heavy rain and sleet, I drove back and found it on the pavement missing the batteries and back. When I got home, I put batteries in it and it still worked! After being launched off a car and subdued to heavy amounts of rain water. I just use electrical tape to hold the batteries in and it works(ghetto but works).

Comes with a coiled removable cable with a 90 degree bend on the end that connects to the intervalometer, useful if the camera connector breaks though the version I got seems robust. Doesn't have an on/off switch so the batteries have to be removed if the remote won't be used for a long time. Works in Aperture, Shutter priority and Manual modes.

Works as a shutter release when the batteries are out. You don't need to have batteries in to trigger the camera shutter in order to avoid blurry shots.

I did get tripped up since I had my camera set to have AutoExposure locked when the shutter was half pressed. This prevented the camera from changing the aperture settings in Shutter priority mode so my shots were overexposed as the light got brighter.

Picked this up to take some time lapse photography and it works great. I'm able to set the interval and have the camera reliably snap photos however often I'd like for however long I like. The remote trigger function is nice but not the purpose of this purchase and it would be nice if it could pull power from the hot shoe but neither is a deal breaker.

My only other complaint would be it feels a bit flimsy but for the price paid it still works well and is what I'd expect.

I've played with this device using 2 Nikons and it appears to do everything I expected it to do. I have yet to try long term time lapse but my intent was for some short term time lapse, such as over several hours. I have used it to trigger other devices, such as wireless flash and/or camera triggers and that could be a possibility in the future, but for now it does what I wanted it to do. I know a lot of people mentioned the need for an off switch, which this does not have. I will see if sitting around for some time without being used will drain the batteries.

I bought this remote to mess around with timelapse photography using my Nikon D3200. It works just as expected. The user manual is ok and gets the point across.

I noticed in other reviews that people stated that their units didn't have a power button. The unit I received has it on the side so I don't have to remove batteries to turn it off. Maybe I got an upgraded version.

For a novice in photography that doesn't want to spend a lot of money, it works just fine. I'm sure there are better/more expensive units that have more features, but it works just fine for my purposes.

I used this on my Nikon D5500 but knowingly that I found out that my camera has the feature already installed in the body for time lapsing. Though, this would do the job just as good as if it was like my camera to do it. I tried it without the camera's features on time lapse and it did well.

I've been using this Voltrox Intervalometer for some time now. I couldn't be happier with it. I use it for my night photography timelapses and it works like a charm. I haven't found an intervalometer anywhere else that can beat this price and it performs just as described. This product allows you to set how long the shutter is open for, the delay in between taking photos, and the number of photos that you want it to take. Without it, I wouldn't be able to take star timelapses, so for that I'm extremely grateful. I highly recommend getting yourself one of these. It poses a great tool for beginners and/or intermediate to advanced photographers.

Pas de souci de fonctionnement. Toutes les fonctions ont été testée sans problème. 3 points font perdre une étoile au produit. 1 l'absence de bouton d'arrêt obligeant à ne pas oublier d'enlever les piles ou d'insérer un papier entre les piles et les contacts. 2 l'éclairage de l'écran un peu faible. 3 le nombre de prise de vue possible verrouillé à 399 ce qui sur certain timelapse est un peu limite (ainsi que l'obligation d'appuyer 200fois sur le bouton + pour faire 200 photos ... chronophage)
