Works good, but doesn't include all the fuses needed

I installed this for my viofo a119 and haven't had issues so far. It doesn't come with any instructions and I've never used a fuse tapper before so I wasn't exactly sure how that worked. So I went down to my local auto zone and found the exact same product and took a picture of the back of the packaging so I had instructions.

You plug the fuse tapper into an existing slot on your fuse terminal board, I used my radio fuse slot. You take the fuse that you removed and put it into the fuse tapper, then put the fuse you're going to use for the dash cam and put that into the tapper as well. The kit doesn't come with fuse you need for the dash camera, but I just used a 5 amp automotive blade type fuse.

So far so good. Been using this with the viofo a119, in a vehicle only drove couple times a week. Now this Is connected to constant 12v for parking mode use. To my surprise I got into the car to find the camera sleeping, and car started right up. I even noticed my compacitor for my amplifier, btw witch is on a separate circuit. was reading 11.6v. Update:. I've had my first experience with it protecting my battery by cutting off power when it drained battery too low. But I had to take away a star because I thought this was supposed to provide power as well, and it doesn't seem to. It just simply cut off power completely.

Perfect Hard Wire with Fuse Kit - Easy Installation

Received package yesterday Oct 6th, 2017 and did the installation the next day. The Installation was very easy and saved me more than $125 from Professional install. The ONLY issue I ran into was using the Fuse Kit. 2015 Audi A6 has a purple fuse holder that keeps fuses in each chamber not get loose or fall off. With the Fuse Kit, I found it hard close the purple fuse holder..... in the long run, I was able to clamp it shut.

This install was for a VIOFO A119S on 2015 Audi A6.

This is the second unit I've purchased. The only thing I'd change, and did for both my installations, is substitute an "add a circuit fuse" that pugs into my fuse block for the supplied in line fuse. This order came with one, which took some cutters and a soldering iron to install (a small inconvenience), which is an improvement over the first unit I bought that came only with the inline fuse. I installed my dashcam in a new Chevy Bolt, which required all the cord between the power supply and camera. A few extra inches of length would have been welcome, but I did figure a way to route the wire and mount the power supply successfully in the end.

I took the time and installed these into 2 vehicles and both didn't work as expected. They powered the viofo a119 but the screen would flicker then shut off. had to use the wire that came with my camera and hooked it up the the cigarette port instead.
