The VIPERTEK VTS-195 stun gun really packs a punch! Just test firing this unit into the air is often enough to stop an attacker. As the bright electric current pulsates between the test prongs and creates an intimidating electrical sound, an attacker with any sense at all will be stopped in his tracks. If the sight and sound doesn't stop him, a jolt from this stun gun certainly will bring an attacker down! When an attacker is touched by the stun gun it will disrupt the message the brain sends to the voluntary muscles. Simply touching an attacker will deliver a high voltage shock causing loss of balance and muscle control, confusion, and disorientation bringing him to his knees and making him incapable of further aggressive activity. Tried tasing my brother, barely touched him and he flew in the air. Be careful of touching the metal prongs after, can get ya too. The flashlight is pretty legit too. I'd say it shines a good 100ft, I probably pissed off a neighbor from shinning it in their window.

I have had several tasers. Some are mosquito bites some are pit bulls! This one is a pit bull! It's about 7 inches long (iPhone 5s next to it) fits great in your hand while walking. I take it waking to scare off critters not just the two legged kind. It packs a punch with a scary loud zapp! It also has a great bright flashlight. Charges quickly. So don't waste your time or money buying a cute pink purse taser. This is a better price with a better punch.

I shocked myself with it frickin hurt. My finger was on the edge of the lens and I touched it off. It'll wake you up in a hurry. Its loud, scares the crap out of the dogs and makes the women folk scream in terror. Its awesome. Good flashlight too.

This is the real deal folks! I had my doubts when I ordered but when I zapped myself with it I knew. I put on a thick leather jacket and zapped me in the arm for one second and damn near crapped my pants. It burns for a long time and it left a welt on my skin. Definitely Police strength. It's heavy duty and the flashlight is very powerful. Do not try it on bare skin or you will get burned. I have no doubt that 3 seconds of it would take down any man..

Good flashlight, just need better safety switch

I like the fact that it's rechargeable, however, having an on and off switch at the very bottom of the flashlight is a little bit inconvenient. I understand that there must be a safety feature on it, otherwise the stun gun might go off in a holster or pocket, however, it could have been better designed. Even having to turn the head of the flashlight clockwise or counterclockwise by a quarter turn would have been better. Brightness is pretty good considering the price, it delivers a bright 450 of 500 lumen output. Like most people out there, I couldn't help dry firing it in the air, several times, throughout the time since I bought it to the present, and it has not affected or damaged the flashlight in any way possible. It also has a very long battery life considering how much I use it as well to. I'm still on the first charge. I've dropped it several times, and so far, lenses not cracked, prongs didn't bend or fly off. It seems like a really sturdy flashlight considering. I ordered a second one for my fiance to use when she does her standing guard accounts. It sure does help drive away the perverts for sure. For the price, I would definitely buy again if need be, just a better safery design would have been better than the bottom of the flashlight, in case you need the stun gun out fast in a hostile situation

I love this stun gun most people don't even know it's one that's the part I like. Most women should carry
this item I love it because like I said they don't know they think it's just a flashlight so it they get to close and you fell a bad feeling pull it out girls.
It's worth every dime you pay for it. If I lost mine today I'd buy this one again.

12/20/2017, I'd like to say this company was so nice that I lost the charger to these items during my move. I contacted them and true to there word they sent me the new chargers. I'd just like to let you know how good this company is.

The wife and I always take our dog on a walk at night after work and this thing is not only a great flashlight, but also is a great deterrent. We had the opportunity to utilize this the other night when a wild dog decided he wanted to come try and attack us. All we had to do was turn the tazer on for a second in the air and the dog got scared and ran away and didn't even think about trying to get any closer to us. Great buy for the price! Will be getting more for gifts for friends and family!
