About VIRGINIA ALICE CRAWFORD
After 30 years in clerical administration including social media and website content, published author, Virginia Alice Crawford, lives in Three Rivers, Texas. While still working full-time, she self-published her first book, “HONOR ONE ANOTHER: The ABCs of Embracing Our Spirit Within,” in July 2020. She currently markets it and is writing her second book, “IT’S JUST YOUR IMAGINATION! The ABCs to Facing Our Fears.”
Virginia Alice, known to her friends and family as Virg, has been a lifelong writer of inspiration in non-fiction essays and short story fiction. She currently writes for HubPages with a focus on spirituality, social media, and writing. Over the years, she has written articles for family, community, and church newsletters as well as self-publishing her own newsletters including, “In Touch with Family.” While living in Calallen, Texas, she taught journaling classes to children, ages 9-13, at The Craft Cottage including lessons on creating a personal journal, author bios, writing poetry, and more. Also, while living in San Antonio, Texas, and volunteering at St. Brigid Church, Virginia Alice was the adult editor for the youth newsletter, “Doorway to Faith,” for three years mentoring the youth team (9th-12th grade) in creating, developing, and supporting the newsletter with their own art, writings, and editing skills.
In addition to more books, Virginia Alice plans to publish a compilation of previously published and unpublished poems, essays and short stories. When not writing, Virginia Alice loves hanging out with family and friends, spending time in the great outdoors, going to the movies, playing cards and board games, bowling, having spa days, doing yoga and other fitness routines, and inspiring others. Her favorite reading genres are mysteries and memoirs.
