Seemed easy enough. Thread screw in and give it a squeeze. Nothing. Maybe I'm just getting weak from spending too much time inside, so I two hand it. Doesn't budge. Maybe I gotta put some speed into it. Still nothing. By then, I noticed the inner cutting point was getting chipped. I Had my roommate give it a try, failed and just laughed at another seemingly failed amazon purchase. I dig up an old screw about the same size and try to cut a little piece off. As everyone in the reviews and youtube videos claim, it was pretty easy with one hand. I was able to slowly squeeze down and slice it.
Update: I gave it the 'ol college try with the screw again, and the vise grips lost. Or rather, I lost.
Since posting this message, I have filed down the screws to the desired length.

Great wire strippers for it's Price! I've paid $21 for other brand and about $8 for this wire strippers. They came together - and I couldn't find any difference, besides of the rubber handles color. So don't be fooled with the higher price for the "brand name" - They are identical, Why pay more?
