The MOLLE straps are okay, but a little inconsistent. Watch yer loading. The Velcro is plenty stiff enough to hold nearly anything you can put on there. I am using it to hold seven shell SKD Esstac shotshell cards for my 870, one on each breast patch. The belt is plenty heft enough to hold anything you can't get the vest to support, and the loops are flexible enough to move the belt up and down for adjustment. Plus, each belt loop has its own snap for hanging additional junk down below your beltline.
Overall? Don't expect Safariland grade from this rig and you'll be okay. But at this price you can afford to outfit everybody in the clan with their own rig.
The back is padded and very tough. The adjustment on in the shoulders is very strong and the Velcro areas for patches and names is nice for customization. After a while playing with the adjustments you will be able to get a snug fit which will allow you to run and move without the vest moving out of place. The light netting at th front has served well to keep it cool during these hot summer days spent running. Something you do not get from other vests. And finally, the included belt with all of its attachment points is very useful for attaching ammunition, water and other items without having to buy more gear.
My only complaint is that the clips along the front are not all equally spaced and in, meaning there is no way to get a proper fit across the stomach. The adjustments down the sides can compensate a little, but I will likely end up sewing the middle clip to a better position.
I would definitively recommend this vest for the price and style.
Some of the reviews mention that the MOLLE straps on the front are attached to the mesh and may be weak. I have 2 triple kangaroo pouches full of 30 round AK and Glock 17 mags and it holds them well. Whether they'll hold up over time is the big question. I could see them possibly wearing out.
The internal document pockets are a nice feature. There's decent padding on the back between you and the plate carrier. I have a hydration system in the pouch and it fits fine. I have a large MOLLE butt pack attached to the back and I can't even tell it's there. The "mag" pouches on the belt do not hold magazines very well. I could barely fit a single stack 7 round 1911 mag in and my high cap Glock mags would not fit at all. Having said that, they work great for the multi tool and small flash light I have in them.
I'm very pleased with this purchase and think it's a great deal for the price.
