It took me all of about a week to ponder the true essence of what I read in `VISUALIZATION - Creating Your Own Universe' by Stanislaw Kapuscinski. I should start of by saying that I am a huge fan of Author Stanislaw Kapuscinski having read six of his books, this being the seventh that I have added to my library collection. As with all of his books, this one yet again another profound read that is eye - opening and well written. If you are a bit open-minded this book will sweep you away into the late night hours. The best part is that it will also captive your heart, and change the way you look at the life and place in the universe.
Everything from the historical to philosophical ideologies of life are discussed in a thought provoking fashion that will open your eyes to a whole new world. This is done as Stan Kapuscinski shares his own particular views of reality, which I felt was done with grace and ease that is not over the top, as is often found with books in the genre. It has personally help change some of my own perspectives. It was almost as if I was sitting next to one of my favorite college professors, going over different ideals, from some of the greatest minds in history.
Stan's biography towards the end demonstrates that he is in-fact an amazing person, has lived, studied and partaken in what most can only dream in achieving. Point being, this book is written from the point of view of someone who truly has a gift that all of u can learn from.
All I can do it highly recommend this book to all who are looking to find a balance in their lives and who a looking to gain a deeper insight on themselves as individuals. This will certainly leave you thinking well after you are done reading, it has me and as such I can only post a 5 star review for Author Stanislaw Kapuscinski.
As with all of this author's books, it is extremely well written, it is mind boggling and eye opening, and it will challenge your current ideological beliefs. It could very possibly change the way you look at life and your place in this world. Yes, it is that thought provoking and profound.
I am a student of History and Philosophy, so I love reading this author's books. He always manages to either give me a different perspective or challenges me to think about my own philosophy. This book, like his others is no different. As I was reading this book I couldn't help but wish he was one of my professors in college because his books challenge me to think more than my college professors did!
I particularly enjoyed reading the author's biography towards the end of the book. While I knew some of it, it was nice to read it again. He has truly achieved in one lifetime what might take others multiple lifetimes. Because of this unique perspective he has based on his vast experiences, his books are a gift to us in that they truly will open your mind and your heart if you let them.
I highly recommend.
Mr. Kapuscinski presents his views and opinions, drawing the reader in, but letting the reader reach their own conclusions. He never forces conclusions upon the reader.
With Mr. Kapuscinski's guidance and an open mind to question the way you think, the reader can move closer to becoming the "master of their domain'.
As other reviewers have noted, if you are looking for inspiration to change your life perspective, you should look no further than this book. Kapuscinski is truly a masterful wordsmith and philosopher, and this text will open your eyes to what you thought was reality, allowing you to see the true reality of the world in which we live.
Bringing forth his mission in life to help people fulfill their dharma, Kapuscinski provides us the catalyst to become ever more aware of the connection between the power of the mind and the world around us. He reminds us of the lost meaning of altruism and the significance it carries. He generously provides a wealth of insights while leaving you to draw your own conclusions. He provides profound secrets that have been buried in obsolescence, encouraging you to filter the truth for yourself and create your own universe. In the end you know you have been exposed to a life changing body of work that leaves you with the tools to exact that change in your own life.
I highly recommend it!
