I see alot of people talking about the lack of space for cable management....and personally I dont agree. If you take your time, and route your cables to their piece of hardware, use zipties, and organize their layout within the side of the case, you can achieve very nice cable management. There is also a little ssd bay in the bottom of the case... which would allow for a couple of those cables to fit nicely if they are neatly zip tied and tucked away. I was able to achieve the great cable management (without a modular power supply) by simply taking my time and routing cables accordingly. Also, the front of this case does come off with a little force, be carefull not to rip of your power button cable though) Can route the usb, front panel wires, and usb3 cable through some of the front holes there also. I uncluded a couple photos of mine. For 38 dollars, this case is perfect. Yes the window is slightly tinted as well, but, the tabs can easily be cut off with the proper tools, leaving a blank canvas for your own window to be placed. When there is a will, there is a way guys.
Case came inside of a box that was full of filler paper to help protect the original packaging and its contents. Upon opening boxes, the case had no damage to the outside, paint, or the inside. Case was not bent or missing pieces (although it didnt come with any kind of manual or product information, assuming we know what were doing anyway). Case DOES NOT have a place to install a disk drive. (which is slowly becoming obsolete anyway, but that just gives lots more room in the case for better airflow). Case has many holes along the backside for cable management and even spots to screw in hdd's and ssd's. I use the little box area underneath the fans as a place to zip tie and put unwanted or unused cables. I also moved the top 120mm fan to the back of the case to use as an exhaust fan since I didnt have one readily available. The front of this case does open, just have to give it a little force. Also, each side panel opens as well. I will take pictures shortly to show my cable management and finished case. Overall, I recommend this case for anyone building on a budget and still wanting great features and looks.
I even swapped out the front fans with No trouble.
The only complaint is that cable management was a pain in a case so small, if I were to do it again I would get a modular power supply.
But even that is not enough of an issue to warrant a loss of a star.
All in all it was the perfect case to build a computer for my girlfriend.
Currently I'm running an MSI Grenade micro ATX mobo, A107860k apu, MSI GTX 1050 2g Gaming, Hyper Evo 212 cooler, EVGA 500w psu and a PNY 250gb SSD with a 1tb storage drive.2 front fans, 2 fans on the 212 cooler and 1 rear exhaust fan. Fits great.
I highly recommend this tower for anyone looking for a micro-ATX build or just building on a budget. This will be my go to tower for friends and family.
I was looking for something a bit cheaper for my first build, but decided to spend just a bit more than i expected to so i got this case and I have no regrets.
Good size, enough space, and a beautiful case.
My only complaints are that the LEDs in the fans are kind of weak, the place to put the hard drive had nothing but a few screws to put it in place, which worried me that it'd be loud and move around (but it doesn't!), the side panel w/o the window has a lack of space for the cable management (which, as I've never build a PC before, might just be my fault tbh), but there was space elsewhere (for SSD, which i didn't put in the case) for me to store the cables so it worked out alright anyways. None of those things are bad enough for me to knock off any stars though!
10/10 would recommend .
