When I ordered the mount, I didn’t realize that the 4” grommet would work for passing it through a desk with a hole in it. I think that is helpful feature for those of you that have a desk where you cannot clamp and don’t want to drill a hole.
The monitor mount is more stable than setting a monitor on top of a stand. One of my old monitors did not have the VESA mount, so I left it on the stand. The old monitor would wobble and the new monitor would barely move.
I really like that it is fully adjustable! I have two 24” monitors on it. I have offset the monitor mount to fit my desk configuration. It has allowed me to have the left monitor arm fully extended and then the right one it adjusted to be next to it. The included wrenches allow me to adjust the tension of the arms.
I will try to add pictures with the new monitors on it. [Update - Added final photos]

I was a little hesitant about getting a dual-monitor mount at this price point. I have absolutely no regrets about getting the VIVO STAND-V002.
My biggest issue with using 27" monitors has been the stand height. I wear bifocals and can't truly touch type so must constantly look up and down from the keyboard to the screens. I've always wanted to get the screens much lower to reduce the head wagging and improve the focus. This stand achieved both goals.
I've included photos of how I mounted the post to the desk. I couldn't use the included clamp because there's a back on the desk. Lag bolts would have worked to bolt it to the back edge but I chose to use hanger bolts. These are bolts that have wood threads on one end (like a lag bolt) and machine threads on the other. They never unscrew from the wood so I never have to worry about stripping out the threads if the bracket has to be removed and reinstalled. It's also easier to get washers between the bracket and the desk. Let me explain.
There are a pair of tangs in the angle bracket (see photo) that are a result of the manufacturing process. They don't matter at all when using the clamp system. For me they meant the bracket was held out a little bit at the corner so the post wouldn't be vertical. Putting a ¼" flat washer on the hanger bolts between the desk and bracket shimmed it out perfectly.
The wire management system is both simple and effective. I chose not to store the included Allen wrenches on the post as I have my own T-handle wrenches. Others will appreciate having all three wrenches available if any joints require adjustment.
Speaking of joint adjustments. VIVO must have taken to heart past reviews about the joints not holding position. The mount I received had every joint tightened to the extreme. In fact, the mount had to be placed in a wood vice and a breaker bar used with the Allen wrench to get one joint loosened. I won't take off any stars for that but VIVO… I suggest you actually torque each bolt to a specification rather than merely crank the heck out of them.
Anyway, I am quite happy with the mount and very pleased with how it allowed both screens to drop down onto my desktop (see final photo).
